[Spoiler Alert] Please stop reading if you do not want to read MAJOR spoilers for Arrow and The Flash!

[The Flash](series:1068303)'s first season has introduced a variety of compelling characters, but none come close to the sophistication of Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). One of Wells' major arcs this season are his secrets. Wells has done a great job at keeping his secrets hidden. To ensure that, he is willing to kill those that come in his way, even those he cares about.

During the midseason finale of The Flash, Wells managed to steal the tachyon prototype, which he used to siphon the speed force in order to stabilize his speed. When Gideon cautioned him on the use of the device, Wells stated that it, "was only meant to be a temporary fix, the real endgame is almost here." What could that endgame be?

Since it's known that Harrison Wells is in reality Eobard Thawne, could it be possible that he may do something drastic like end a future version of himself for a specific cause? Is it possible that Wells might kill his distant relative, Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett)? While nothing is out of the question, whatever Thawne's plan is, it has to be really , really big. So big in fact, that it will have to warrant the appearance of Ra's al Ghul and Firestorm.

The above image displays three heroes, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) as The Arrow, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) as The Flash, and Ronnie Raymand (Robbie Amell) as Firestorm. The heroes are face to face with Eobard Thawne. If these three heroes have to unite to take down The Reverse Flash, then it could only mean that Thawne's plan does not only put Central City, and Starling City in danger, but possibly the world.

The image also reveals Oliver in 'League of Assassins' attire, which seems to suggest that Oliver may have taken up Ra's al Ghul's (Matt Nable) offer in becoming the next Ra's al Ghul. But how much help can a man with a bow and arrow be against a man with super speed? It is possible that Oliver will bring 'The League' with him, since they will essentially follow Oliver's every order. They did prove to be useful when taking down Slade's (Manu Bennett) super soldier army.

Firestorm did manage to get a hit at The Reverse Flash during the midseason finale, but he caught him off guard while he was distracted with The Flash. How will he do against him now that he's well on his guard?

This face-off may also come at a price for Ronnie. Thawne is responsible for the unity of Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein (Victor Garber), since he converted the tachyon prototype into a quantum splicer to keep Firestorm stable. Is is possible that Thawne will force Firestorm to defuse by destroying the quantum splicer and in the process kill Ronnie?

It would explain why Robbie Amell is not part of the superhero spinoff show, while Victor Garber is. When Flash producer Greg Berlanti was asked a while back on the absence of Amell's casting, Berlanti says, “I can’t say why.” Is this why he can't say? Is it because Ronnie will die at the hands of Thawne?

Not much is known about The Flash's version of Eobard Thawne, but him messing with the time stream could in fact make him a paradoxical version of himself. In the comics, that version of the character was put to rest by Thomas Wayne's Batman, who impaled Thawne with a sword. Could we see Thawne face the same fate at the hands of Oliver? Could Oliver's sword training be the key to stopping Thawne? Will this showdown with Thawne encourage heroes to come out of the woodwork and create a group of heroes to take down the villains that one man can't do alone?

What is Eobard Thawne's big plan? Do you think the trio will be enough to take down The Reverse Flash? Do you think Ronnie Raymond will die? Let us know in the comments below!

The Flash airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and [Arrow](series:720988) airs on Wednesday at 8 p.m. on The CW.
