Hi, I would like to start this off with Google's plot of the movie. after you just watch the trailer. Of course.

Google's plot:

When his estranged son (Joel Kinnaman) becomes a mob target, an aging hit man (Liam Neeson) must figure out where his loyalties lie and how to save his offspring from a deadly fate.

But there is so much more than just that. The chemistry that Shawn Maguire (Ed Harris) and Jimmy Conlon (Liam Neeson) had led the movie in beautifully towards there quote "Crossing over to the over side together" unquote moment.

How Jimmy battled with his inner demons and was destroying his life because of how many families and people he destroyed.

How Mike and Jimmy never really had a good relationship, through the eyes of the child and the adult eyes. But they soon looked pass that and started to understand each other through the movie.

I also just got to mention Liam Neeson acting drunk and being Irish is probably the most amazing part of the movie.

Everybody in the cast played there part so beautiful. It's worth the money, Google describes the relationship between Mike and Jimmy beautifully "estranged son." They know each other but since Jimmy wanted more for Mike (Joel Kinnaman) he ended driving him away.

But the moment that Mike is chased by the mob, he can really understand Jimmy's pain and why he did it. Mike starts to see Jimmy's world and they start to build this beautiful bond together but Jimmy still wants Mike to stay away from his world. Making the moments they share full of tension but still heart warming.

The cinematography for the movie is wonderful, it is at moments a bit too cliche but for me personally I loved every moment of it. A prime example of the "too cliche" is the bathroom scene, I don't want to give anything away but Franky and Jimmy meet in not so good grounds and the lighting for the bathroom is just one single light bulb on line lighting the bathroom. That will give you the feel for the whole movie.

The reason why I rated it only 8 stars and not the full 10 is because it is a bit rough to start with but after a while the movie smoothes itself out and it becomes a single story line that you won't be forgetting for a while.
