The video game industry is loving its Remasters right now. We have Borderlands, Devil May Cry, Halo, Batman: Arkham games, God of War, Dark Souls 2 with plenty more on the way. Bethesda have announced that they'll be hosting an E3 conference later this year, with a full hour to fill. Of course, they're big publishers right now, and we expect to see titles like Dishonoured 2 on display.

However, we also expect the unveiling of a new engine for the future of the company. Could Fallout 4 be the first to run on it? Or could we see it help with bringing the glorious Fallout 3 and maybe even Fallout New Vegas to the XBOX One and PS4?

Fallout 4, Fallout 3 & New Vegas Remaster @ E3

Fallout 3 is one of the best RPGs that Bethesda has ever created, but with that being said, it can be pretty grimy. Bethesda are known for releasing titles on engines that are barely keeping up with the rest of the industry. As a result, Fallout 3 isn't exactly the prettiest game on the PS3 and Xbox 360, though modders have certainly helped it out on the PC.

Therefore, could we actually see it hit Current Gen consoles before the year is out? It'd be a great way for players to engage with the Fallout experience before the release of Fallout 4. Bethesda may even get a whole host of new people joining in, thus promoting the arrival of their next title. As if they even need to hype it though. They just have to say "Fallout 4" and we'll do the rest.

Are Bethesda Interested in Remasters?

Of course Fallout New Vegas, was created by Obsidian Entertainment, though it was produced by Bethesda. So seeing a Fallout remastered collection might not be that farfetched an idea. The question is whether Bethesda are actually interested in doing something like this. Are they just content with releasing new instalments in their franchises, or would they be happy to revisit Fallout 3 for remaster?

Personally, picturing the box art on the PS4 has kinda gotten me excited for the notion of playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas again with updated graphics and all of their DLC packs. What about you guys? Would you pick up a Fallout remaster collection, or do you think it'd be a bad idea for Bethesda? Let us know in the comments!
