Hey there Walking Dead fans, you guys are in for a treat!
AMC has announced that during the 90-minute "TWD" season 5 finale, airing this sunday night, the first promo for the new spinoff show will air.

The brand new walker-show doesn't yet come with a title but we know already that it has been signed for no less than 2 seasons.
The first season is set to premiere in late summer whilst its second season will probably air in 2016.

"From the beginning of 'The Walking Dead' on AMC, we’ve been asked questions about what was going on in other parts of the zombie apocalypse, and what it looked like as the world really did 'turn.' Through this new series, we’re going to find out,”

This is what AMC president Charlie Collier said in a statement earlier this month, when news of the new series' pickup was annouced.

The show is probably set in the early beginnings of the apocalypse, dating before the events of TWD. It is not yet clear that the two storylines will eventually collide in the future and will have an Arrow-Flash like crossover relationship. Although there is already one fan here hoping for it. Fingers (or series) crossed!

season one will be made up of six one-hour episodes starring Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey.
