The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding itself with every movie & TV Show they release. It's worth mentioning that they keep introducing more characters that in a way have a role in the MCU. Thanks to the weekly Marvel-dose that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D provides, we are able to explore the corners of the MCU that wouldn't be explored on the big screen. Some super-powered minor villains & other grounded-characters come to life for the very first time on the small screen, always having a relationship with the bigger picture, since it's all connected.

Here's my Top 5 of MCU Characters that should reappear on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

  • #5 Pepper Potts

We just love Pepper, she was one of the hight-lights of the Iron Man movies, since we are not getting one of those anytime soon, the probabilities of seeing her again are limited to minor appearances on the upcoming-Avengers movie. Since Gwyneth Paltrow has some history in television, she could be up to reprise the role one more time on the small screen. After all, Maria Hill is working on Stark Industries, they both could reappear together on an episode. She knows Agent Coulson, perhaps she could be able to help S.H.I.E.L.D. with its lack of resources.

  • #4 Agent Felix Blake

Agent Felix Blake is one of those loyal S.H.I.E.L.D. members that weren't HYDRA, his last appearance to date was on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode 'End of the Beginning' in which high-ranking shield agents started the hunt for The Clairvoyant. He got his ribs caved-in & was taken to a S.H.I.E.L.D. medical facility, soon after the S.H.I.E.L.D. Civil War started, loyalties were tested & a lot of agents went into hiding from the authorities that wanted to apprehend them. We currently don't know his whereabouts, but hopefully his alive & ready to resume his duties. I truly hope that he'll reappear as a member of Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. & not as a member of 'The Real S.H.I.E.L.D.'

  • #3 Emil Blonsky 'The Abomination'

The Incredible Hulk is the only MCU-canon Hulk movie, since the other franchises are getting sequels & this one is not, it will be wise to introduce more Hulk-related characters on the small screen. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. already made that move by using a Hulk-character, Glenn Talbot. Even tough, his ties to the Hulk weren't mentioned, he's a recurring character on the show, it still counts as something, maybe they can develop a potential hulk-related storyline from there. It's also important to honour the legacy of the movie by using some of the characters from it. Emil Blonsky, known as 'The Abomination' is the Hulk's legendary foe, he should have a more important role on the MCU. His last whereabouts were on a cryocell located in a facility in Barrow, Alaska by the United States Armed Forces under the watch of General Thaddeus Ross. Because of the S.H.I.E.L.D Civil War, the Fridge was raid, probably that facility was under attack too & Emil Blonsky broke free. It's only a matter of time before they mention him again.

  • #2 Dr. Franklin Hall 'Graviton'

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. first season was all about origin stories, we got the chance to meet Dr. Franklin Hall & the beginning of his path as a super-foe. Sadly, he didn't appear again. At the end of season 1, Ian Quinn escaped & took the Gravitonium with him. We are almost at the end of the second season & neither Quinn nor Graviton were present. I'm expecting a Quake VS. Graviton fight, because it would be the most logical thing to make 2 super-powered beings fight each other, since Graviton's powers are a lot to take for the agents of the broken organization. This could happen when Skye starts to control her powers.

  • #1 Maria Hill

Now that 'How I Met Your Mother' is over, Colbie Smulders is more than ready to resume her duties as Maria Hill on a weekly-basis, the last time we saw her was on the episode 'Nothing Personal', she's working at Stark Industries, because there she's untouchable. She could return to the show for a few episodes now that S.H.I.E.L.D. is having a hard time with the remainings of the original organization. She was the deputy director, so maybe 'The Real S.H.I.E.L.D.' will listen to her, if not, she can always kick some ass. Anyway, her return to the series could always serve as a tie-in to Age of Ultron.
