It goes without saying that this is the most excited any of us have been for the sequel ever since the first Avengers movie hit theaters three years ago. I fell in love with the first one so you can imagine where my amp level is at this moment. Call me obsessed, I don't care. Just don't make me angry...

So to this point we have seen approximately 8 minutes of trailer footage. Every snippet I have viewed has made my heart race to the point of near cardiac arrest. Having said that, I am willing to wait for the full length version on April 30th. I am also not a fan of reading up on "what we want to see" or "what we should expect" speculation type articles. I realize it's fun to discuss the possibilities but I don't put much stock into endless theories or predictions. I just want to go into the theater with an open mind and let it all play out. Marvel and Joss Whedon know what they are doing. We will be blown away with what they are providing us. I am prepared for anything; surprises, twists, deaths, cameos....anything. I will accept whatever they throw at me. By the way, the running time for the film is approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes! The longer, the better. I probably won't want it to end.

I recall back to Nolan's Batman trilogy. After the first film, I was impressed. It was a solid retooling. We needed that after Joel Schumacher's abomination. I was eagerly awaiting The Dark Knight. And it did not disappoint. That was a thrill ride. Having said that, it is a distant second to my anticipation of Age of Ultron.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is more than a movie. It's a theatrical event which is the core center of MCU's grand scheme. In 2014 they gave us Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Guardians of the Galaxy. Both were masterpieces. Impeccable planning on the part of Marvel to give us two gems in one year. It satisfied our appetite. Takes the stress off of the waiting for Age of Ultron.

"There are no strings on me..."

Of course I don't want to fill this article with rhetoric but I know I am speaking on behalf of the entire fan base of the MCU.
