Ubisoft have two highly anticipated Tom Clancy titles to look forward to in 2015. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege and Tom Clancy's The Division, are set to be Ubisoft's biggest titles alongside Assassin's Creed Victory. Could The Division's success exceed that of Assassin's Creed?!

It's been a long while since we've seen or heard from Ubisoft about either of these games. In fact, the only sight that we've been granted of these Tom Clancy games has been through leaks since E3 2014. One saw a closed viewing of a match in Rainbow Six: Siege, while the other showed off brief clips of The Division in its alpha stages. But one new leak, or rather a mistake, has given us a release date for Rainbow Six: Siege.

Rainbow Six: Siege & The Division's Release Date

If you check out the picture below you can see the absurd prices that GameStop will be selling Rainbow Six: Siege for on its release date for the XBOX One, PS4 and PC in Europe. No joke, I actually saw Amazon list the standard edition of From Software's Bloodborne, for €89,00 on Friday. That's over $96!!! The collector's edition was selling for €79,99...what is going on?! Too much demand!

In any case, though Bloodborne is essentially my favourite game in a very long time, no one should have to pay that price for a standard issue of a video game. In any case, GameStop in Italy accidentally uploaded this image seen here, which surreptitiously announces the release date for Rainbow Six: Siege on the 16th of October, 2015. We shall have to wait and see if its true, E3 should hold all the answers.

How Will This Release Date Affect The Division?

So, with Rainbow Six launching in October, when can we expect to see [Tom Clancy's The Division](tag:2684169)? Well, we assume that Ubisoft are going to want this title to be a game for Christmas. Perhaps the release date will be similar to the gap between Far Cry 4 and Assassin's Creed Unity in 2014. Literally one week!

Therefore, if The Division doesn't suffer a release date delay, I'm sure we can expect it to release for the holiday season of this year, perhaps even on Black Friday. A lot of players feel that this particular "holiday" is a perfect time to release the title as it mirrors the themes The Division explores.
