If you've ever struggled with the hypothetical decision of whether you'd rather be traveling the universe in the TARDIS or fighting alongside Arya Stark, now you don't have to decide!

While Season 4 of HBO's [Game of Thrones](movie:817617) showed the youngest Stark daughter boarding a ship towards the Free City of Braavos, according to BBC America, her travels might take her even further after they announced that Maisie Williams will join the Doctor in the ninth season of the BBC's [Doctor Who](series:200668).

During her first day on set, Maisie expressed her excitement to be a part of the iconic British television show:

I’m so excited to be working on Doctor Who as it’s such a big and important part of British Culture. I can’t wait to meet the cast and crew and start filming, especially as we’ll be shooting not too far from my home town.

Steven Moffat, the longstanding showrunner for Doctor Who also spoke on her being cast, saying:

We’re thrilled to have Maisie Williams joining us on Doctor Who. It’s not possible to say too much about who or what she’s playing, but she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. This time he might just be out of his depth, and we know Maisie is going to give him exactly the right sort of hell.

Maisie Williams challenging Peter Capaldi? I'm so in!

Although we don't know what kind of role Maisie will be playing, by Moffat's wording it sounds like she'll have more than just a cameo role. Do you think Time Lords honor the phrase valar morghulis?

The ninth season of Doctor Who still has no official air date, but we'll be sure to keep you all posted!
