The Fast & Furious franchise, over the years, has grown to be one of my favorite franchises in movie history. And I refuse to call them guilty movies and the films are not guilty pleasures, because I do not feel guilty when watching them. Yes they are over the top, and yes it has essentially evolved into a superhero franchise, but who cares? Over the years we have come to know and care about all of these characters while they partake in illegal street races and death-defying stunts. This is a franchise built on pure entertainment, and I absolutely love it.

With all of that being said, I have compiled a list of actors and actresses that I would love to see in future installments. Now, these are people that I believe would be a good fit for the franchise, and not necessarily the best actors. There won't be a Jennifer Lawrence or Scarlett Johansson on this list (I am also getting a little tired of them getting cast in everything), and I will not be putting Leonardo DiCaprio of Tom Hardy here either, simply because I do not see them fitting into the world that has been created. And this is a franchise that I could not see them ever getting involved in.

This is strictly a list of actors and actresses who I feel would be a great fit, and perfect for a franchise such as this. With that in mind, continue at your own risk.

1. Jason Momoa

There is something about Momoa that simply draws you to the screen, and he would fit in perfectly as a villain to our lovable anti-heroes in the Fast & Furious franchise. In 'Bullet to the Head' Momoa chewed up the scenery as the mercenary after Stallone, and that axe fight at the end solidified the reason why Momoa needs to appear in this franchise.

Just imagine a fight between the mammoths that are Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Jason Momoa. If you thought that axe fight with Stallone was epic, then wait until we see that on the big screen. This is the type of franchise that would welcome Momoa with open arms, play to his strengths and provide the viewer with exactly what we want to see.

There is a certain savageness to Momoa that would make for the perfect villain for the street racers turned superheroes. Momoa is gonna be Aquaman for God's sake, they might as well give is a small taste of his eventual fight with The Rock's Black Adam in a Fats & Furious movie. They need to make this happen, ASAP.

If you need more convincing as to whether he's a good actor (although this franchise isn't necesarily about acting), watch the Sundance TV series 'The Red Road.' Conan was not Momoa's fault.

2. Mel Gibson

Gibson almost seems like too good of an actor to appear in one of these movies, but if you saw him in Expendables 3, then you know exactly why he's on this list. Gibson proved in that movie that he could play great villains when offered the opportunity, and even though the movie was not great (or even good), one thing all of us could agree on is that Gibson was the redeeming factor in the film.

Of course this film would have to be filled with shootouts and explosions since Gibson, no offense, might be a little old to go toe to toe with these guys in a street fight, but that's why they would get minor characters to fill that void. Gibson would chew up the scenery and, if was any indication by Expendable 3, he would be have loads of fun with this role. I'd be all in for a Fast movie with Gibson as the main villain.

3. Katee Sackhoff

Katee Sackhoff is no stranger to badass characters, in film and television, as was apparent with her roles in both Battlestar Galactica and Riddick, and she would not only be able to go toe to toe with Michelle Rodriguez, but also Vin Diesel (who starred in Riddick as well) and the rest of the crew (minus maybe The Rock).

This is a franchise that has always had strong female leads weave their way in and out, whether it be Gal Gadot, Michelle Rodriguez or Gina Carano. Ronda Rousey even makes an appearance in Furious 7 and throws down with Rodriguez. Why not add one more to the list? She doesn't necessarily need to be the villain, and we could always use more badass female characters in films.

4. Terry Crews

This is a franchise that would literally be the perfect fit for a guy like Crews. He is nearly as big as The Rock (physically) and has immense screen presence that would truly add to the experience. Not only that, but he could play both a comedic character but also the straight man. I cannot see a guy like Crews playing the bad guy because he is just so likable, but I could see him linking up with the crew in the future.

Maybe he seeks revenge for something that happened to him in the past, and him and the crew are after the same person. It doesn't matter what the story is (it is Fats & Furious after all), just get Crews in one of these movies. If they do spin-off movies, a Fast & Furious buddy movie with him teaming up with The Rock would be all kinds of awesome. Bottom line, this sees like a franchise built for a guy like Crews, and this needs to happen.

5. Manu Bennett

The only role I could see Bennett playing is that of the main antagonist. I guess I still have him as Deathstroke locked in my head. With that in mind, if you've watched Arrow, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Bennett portrayed, what I believe to be, one of the best live action comic villains ever. he was that good as Deathstroke.

I want Bennett to be menacing, a force to be reckoned with and I want him to tear the team apart... or not. I just want him in the movie, facing off against these guys and having fun while doing it. That's the thing about Bennett. Even in Arrow, he was playing Deathstroke as menacing and serious all the way through, yet you could tell he was having a blast, and I would him to bring that same level of menace and fun to the franchise we all love.

You have read my list, so what's yours? Agree or disagree with the people I chose, and who do you want to see in future installments of the franchise. Let me know in the comments, and thanks for reading.
