Burning Bodhi is a tale of a group of twenty-something friends who come together after learning own died suddenly.

[The Big Bang Theory](series:200751)’s Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting stars along with Cody Horn (Magic Mike & End of Watch), and Landon Liboiron (Degrassi: The Next Generation & Hemlock Grove). Also appearing are Virginia Madsen (Sideways & All the Wilderness) and Andy Buckley (The Office & Bridesmaids).

Filming took place in New Mexico in the fall of last year.

Matthew McDuffie wrote and directed the film. His other credits include the writing screenplay for The Face of Love, starring Annette Benning, Ed Harris and the late Robin Williams. He also wrote the script for A Cool, Dry Place, starring Vince Vaughn.

Not much else is known yet about the film though it is believed to be the reason Mrs. Cuoco-Sweeting cut her beloved, long golden hair last year, something that caused upheaval amongst fans and the media.

A release date for the film is to be announced.
