I wanted to talk about one of my projects that I started a while ago.
It started with the thought that — for me — Sean Connery has never changed physically. I mean, he has had the same face for the past three decades. When I was young, I only knew him as his character in the last Indiana Jones movie (just to be clear, the fourth one doesn't exist to me) and I don't think he has aged since. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one here that thinks this and I can't be the only one to think that he looks the very same across all ages. Keanu Reeves is the same way, but not you Schwarzenegger!
But...I'm digressing. I started gathering images from every movie with Sean Connery in it, and began to draw each character portrait in one image to see how much he had changed. Physically - not too much, but his costumes have changed a lot. I had fun discovering some of his weirdest movies like Sword of Valiant or Zardoz (a really good B-movie, by the way. Just for the pony tail).
Then I started to do it with Scarlett Johansson. It was interesting and difficult because she started acting very young.
The last one is Jack Nicholson because he has a really crazy face.
And now, the portraits...
Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed drawing them.
You can purchase the posters and some of the solo portraits HERE.
Tell me if you want more, or tell me who to draw next! Maybe Keanu Reeves or Stallone?
I now leave you with the beautiful Scarlett!
