Whenever a character dies offscreen, viewers wonder whether or not the character is actually dead. The general rule of thumb is that if there is no body, then a character might still be alive. This gave viewers hope as it appears that Deadshot (Michael Rowe) died in an explosion during "Suicidal Tendencies."

A fan recently praised the casting of Deadshot and Lyla and asked Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim whether Lyla and Deadshot would return to the show in starring roles. Guggenheim responded with the following:

First, thanks for the kind words. I agree with you, our casting people — in Los Angeles and Vancouver — are the best. Unfortunately, Deadshot is off the table for the nonce.

It seems that Deadshot will be off the table due to DC's upcoming Suicide Squad film, which features Will Smith as the character. This shouldn't come as a surprise, since it was reported a while ago that Harley Quinn would no longer be appearing on Arrow due to the characters role in the upcoming film.

Are you disappointed that Michael Rowe won't be returning as Deadshot? Are you excited for Will Smith's Headshot? Let us know in the comments below!
