Now that Spring is here, and Summer is right around the corner, we are just about to enter the long stretch of the block buster movie season. There is a lot on the plate for the remainder of this year in both TV and Movies, but April might actually be the most exciting month of the year. Here's what we have to look forward to:

1. Furious 7 - April, 3rd

Furious 7

In 2013, when Furious 6 came out, I actually believe it was the best action movie of that year. That was in a movie year that included [Man of Steel](movie:15593), Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and The Wolverine. [Furious 7](movie:264263) has some big shoes to fill from where the series left off. They have beefed up the roster with actors like Ronda Rousey, Tony Jaa, Jason Statham and Kurt Russell. Will that be enough to over shadow the partial absence of Paul Walker?

2. Daredevil - April, 10th

Out of everything that is coming out in April, I am probably most excited for Daredevil. I have read a review that says that Vincent D'Onofrio's interpretation of Kingpin is probably the most well played villain so far in the MCU. I am excited in the potential of him appearing in possibly a Spiderman film as well down the road.

3. Game of Thrones - April, 12th

GOT is a close second to Daredevil for my most anticipated movie/show. The only reason DD is taking the edge is because I will be able to watch all of the episodes immediately, as opposed to dealing with the suspenseful cliff hangers from week to week in [Game of Thrones](movie:817617). Although I don't read the books (because I don't want to be spoiled while watching the show), I am expecting a lot of exciting changes during season 5 from where we left off in the 7 kingdoms.

4. Avengers: Age of Ultron - April, 30th

The official release date for [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) is May 1st, but most AMC theatres will be showing an early release one day before on April 30th, and seeing as I already bought my tickets to see it on this day, I am including it in the exciting releases in April. While overall I am actually most excited for Daredevil, the movie I am definitely most excited for not just in April, but for the entire year is Age of Ultron. It already appears as if [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](series:722469) is leading in to my previous suggestion to tie in with the events of AoU in setting up Captain America: Civil War. I am excited to see this all come together, as well as getting all the rest of [The Avengers](movie:9040) on the big screen again, with the addition of some new arrivals.

All in all, April will be a great month for all of us in the fanboy/fangirl community. Let me know in the comments below what you are most excited for!
