I'll spoil Walking Dead for you and use the Chi to save the world.

People generally agreed that the comic book characters for The Walking Dead TV Series were cast perfectly (apart from Andrea, of course), so here are more characters for you to vote on. Who do you prefer?

Due to the recent (unexpectedly quick) success of the previous post, we decided to give you more characters to vote on. The fans generally agreed that the TV show version of [The Walking Dead](series:201193) characters were even better than the comic book characters they were based on. We decided to look into this even further and see if we could test your preferences. Here we go...

(Possible spoilers ahead).

The Governor (David Morrissey)

When rumors arose that The Governor was being cast for the series, we were expecting to see Danny Trejo being announced as the maniacal villain. We ended up with British actor, David Morrissey instead. David Morrissey has done a good job in the role, giving it his own character rather than that in the comic books (maybe because the original governor was too "R-Rated"). Although The Governor originally lost his eye (and arm) after some very graphic and creative torture from Michonne, his story was changed quite a bit for the TV show to accommodate less rape, blood, and spoons (don't ask... seriously, don't ask). Overall, David Morrissey played the role well, but suffered from a dull-written script.

Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs)

Probably the most developed character in both series, Carl has grown from a scared little boy to an independent sheriff-hat wearing teen, seeking to prove himself as a stronger person than people give him credit for. Carl goes through a lot as he...

...gets shot in the torso by a shotgun, loses an eye in battle, and has to watch his mother and newborn sister brutally die (a bit different in the TV show)...

Carl has slowly been developing into the main character of the comic book story-line and only time will tell what Robert Kirkman has in store for his character.

Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies)

Oh god! I apologize for this, but we have to put her in here at some point. Lori has undoubtedly been the most hated, most annoying, and absolute worst character in the history of The Walking Dead... and Sarah Wayne Callies does an excellent job at keeping that streak going. Her only purpose in the series is to show that even the most handsome, loyal, and loving of men can have wives that are an absolute pain. Listening/reading Lori's constant whining and complaining was quite irritating. So irritating that we cheered her death. Even more irritating on the TV show that her son shoots her in the head before she's eaten whole by a walker... much earlier than she was expected to die. Our only hope of liking the character was when she was offered a threesome by Carol in the comics, to which she flipped out and said no. Which means we hate her even more. Let's rephrase the question for this one, and instead let me ask this...

Which Lori do you tolerate more?

Morgan Jones (Lennie James)

The fourth Brit in our series of articles (after Andrew Lincoln as Rick, Lauren Cohan as Maggie, and David Morrissey as The Governor), it's a wonder why Brits have been slowly taking over the TV business. A character who gets more build-up time than screen time, Morgan has served as the first ally to Rick Grimes in the "Zombie Apocalypse". He first introduced Rick to the new world he would be living in and took care of him until they were ready to separate. Lennie James does an excellent job of playing Michonne's love interest and even adds more "Bad-Assity" to the character (yes, that season finale fight scene was beautiful). Morgan has now become a large part of the TV show and we can't wait to see what Kirkman will give us with this character next season.

Speaking of Michonne...

Michonne (Danai Gurira)

Ah, Michonne! Where do I begin?

There is a reason Michonne is considered the 86th greatest comic book hero of all time. I imagine Robert Kirkman came up with her character when he said to himself, "How do I make a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies and whatnot even better? Let me add an ass-kicking, katana wielding ex-lawyer who sliced her loved ones' body parts off so she could walk among the enemies, into the story line." Michonne never needs anyone's approval to do anything and always keeps her feet on the ground. Even when the most honest of men (Rick Grimes) goes nuts and points a gun at everyone, she beats the crazy out of him and makes sure his mind lands back on Earth. We've seen Michonne get very creative with a spoon (see above) and we just constantly want more. When she suddenly went missing in the comics, all we cared about was knowing where she was and when she was coming back...

...And now that we have an answer (with her being a post-apocalyptic pirate and whatnot, we never want to let go of her...

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...

Now that we've added even more characters to the list, let us know who you want next and we'll be sure to bring them to you in our next article.

Also, look out for future articles on casting Paul "Jesus" Monroe, Ezekiel, and Negan (don't worry, the whole "Robert Pattinson" thing was just a cruel April Fool's joke) as well as a theory on the new spin-off, [Fear the Walking Dead](series:1117438).
