Do or do not, there is no try..

Read only if you've watched "The Trickster" episode on CW's THE FLASH.

By now you know about the fate of the REAL Harrison Wells, killed with his wife by Eobard Thawne aka Professor Zoom aka THE REVERSE FLASH. A man who we now have a face for!

That is Matt Letscher (The Carrie Diaries) , the REAL Eobard Thawne, and from the very far future. Using advanced technology he is able to take the lifeforce from Harrison Wells and absorbing it into his body. The process changed his appearance to that of Wells himself.

You might also remember him as Captain Love from the first Zorro!

We also know how he ended up in the past. While fighting "The Flash", they both time jumped, draining him of his power and disconnecting him from the Speed Force. Leaving Eobard Thawne stuck in the past.

We know now that it was he that advanced Wells project, deliberately setting off the bomb that would eventually create "Meta-Humans".

Yet,

now we have to ask another question about that night. Was that REALLY Barry Allen as The Flash?

Did Barry time jump into the future where he ran into the fight of his life against Eobard Thawne, or did Professor Zoom face off against someone else?

I say Eobard Thawne was engaged against someone else

WALLY WEST!

That's right, I said it. The blood Cisco found at the crime scene belonged to Barry, but they never factored the chance it could belong to a direct descendant of Barry as well. I say this since Eobard Thawne stated he was "centuries" out of time. So the person he was fighting against could have been an adult Wally West.

Yea thats a hell of a theory about the "secret" behind The Reverse Flash, potentially setting up a showdown like no other. Truthfully, I'm looking forward to the finale where hopefully the truth will be revealed to Barry.

It would be wrong not to recognize Mark Hamill's return to the Flash universe as The Trickster. I say return because some of you younger readers may not have ever seen him play the character on the original Flash run on TV. Awesome then, awesome now!

The debut season of The Flash has been and will continue to be great right until the end. The truth behind it all may surprise us...or maybe we already know?
