Warning: Possible spoilers for The Walking Dead comic series ahead!

After the arrival of Rick and the gang at Alexandria in Season 5 of [The Walking Dead](series:201193), many people are in anticipation that perhaps the Big Bad of the comic series, Negan, will soon join the cast. However it's not the vicious Negan that Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has recently been talking about bringing to the show, but the deadly character of Shiva.

For those of you who may not know, Shiva is the name of a tiger who joins the comic series in issue 108. Shiva is the pet of a man named Ezekiel (or King Ezekiel) who is the leader of a community named The Kingdom. After knowing the tiger since she was born into captivity (at a zoo where he was a zookeeper), the two share a strong bond and are a formidable duo.

Though I'm sure many readers of the comic series love Shiva, the fact remains that it seems pretty crazy to have a tiger in the TV series right? Well Robert Kirkman doesn't seem to think it's outside the realm of possibility! Speaking to Polygon, Kirkman talked about Shiva being on the show:

There's a guy who has a tiger for a pet in the comic named Ezekiel who's really cool. I always say that I never let the show influence what I'm doing in the comic. But I will say, when I was writing those characters in the comic, I was like, 'Yeah, good luck doing this, show people!' I think that we'll be able to do the tiger. We'll see.

Yes, yes, yes! Scott Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Gale Anne Hurd and everyone else involved in the show, make this happen! Besides, with Shiva first appearing in issue 108 of the comic, and the TV show currently hovering around the events of issue 77, there's plenty of time to perfect CGI tigers before she would hit the screen.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC with Season 6 in October, while it's new companion series [Fear the Walking Dead](series:1117438) will debut its first season sometime in Summer.
