The Originals return soon with the exciting end of their second season. Joseph Morgan talks to People Magazine about the last set of episodes, family drama and of course Klaus and Caroline. As many of you may know or for those that don't. Klaus and Caroline's (Klaroline) journey started long before this originals landed in New Orleans. Back when the Mikaelson's ripped through all of Mystic Falls. Klaus took time off from his villain spree to indulge in something just as strong as revenge. Love. The blonde vampire is none other than Miss Mystic Falls herself...Caroline Forbes. Played by Candice Accola, Caroline peeks Klaus' fancy very early on in The Vampire Diaries Season 3. Soon as our villain realizes Caroline is nothing but a distraction from the Mystic Falls crew. He plays his age and turns the game around on Caroline. Using the time to get to know her better and in return revealing parts of himself that only a few get to see. We see Caroline's view of Klaus change along with her feelings for him.

And the rest is history....

From the start Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline's (Candice Accola) chemistry was off the charts. One of the many reason's fans took to these two in the first place. Klaus's walls begin to crumble from his relationship with Caroline. The biggest one, finding out the thousand year old hybrid was capable of love, long before the birth of his daughter. But like all good things Klaus and Caroline's journey came to an end. Well....kind of a fast halt as Klaus and the Mikaelson's move to New Orleans for more pressing matters.

Moving to the state of both shows today...

With Klaus handling the safety of his child and going up against tons of enemies. As Caroline handles the death of her mother and a blooming relationship with Stefan. Klaroliners still have hope that someday Klaus and Caroline can pick up another chapter of their well established relationship. With Julie Plec even saying their story is on hold for now. Along with Candice Accola...here's what Joseph Morgan had to say recently..

In terms of if he still thinks about her, I wouldn't be surprised. I think he knows … there's a lot of stuff that Klaus doesn't vocalize. He keeps his cards pretty close to the chest and a lot of that is because he doesn't trust anyone – really, truly trust them – with his feelings and so a lot of things to do with his daughter and past romances, you know, I think he plays it pretty close and doesn't reveal … so, yeah, I mean, I don't know.

Morgan also reveals if he thinks Klaus could help Caroline in her recent situation.

I think he'd probably be able to offer her some advice, some good advice. Because you know, he was the one who got Stefan to turn off his humanity back in season 3 [of TVD]. He's an expert at putting walls up and shutting off his feelings. I think he'd definitely be able to help her.

So is this good news or bad for Klaus and Caroline Fans?

Many are already saying that this is not much different from what everyone else has been telling Klaus and Caroline fans since forever. Move on,but you all know my theory...ship who you want regardless. The Klaroline Fandom is still thriving. Being vocal and opinionated has gotten us this far. People Magazine asking shipper questions. Julie Plec, along with all the writers from both shows knowing that fans still want Klaus and Caroline. A huge star following along with several bloggers. Billboards regardless of if it's a projection screen or not, 3 to be exact so far. Dominating polls when given the chance but most of all. Still being supportive and creative. This fandom has it's own and are damn proud of it. Klaroline Magazine, Klaroline Community, Klaroline Gives Back and much..much more. Joseph being a fan of creativity himself see's this.

The bonus...

Even if Klaus and Caroline never meet again...Joseph Morgan has always been team captain. He even use to tweet fan-made videos about the two. But we all know stories change and writers change direction. So with that said. Keep your heads up Klaroliners....even Joseph Morgan knows Klaus could never just forget the impact of Caroline in his life. He's always been great at acknowledging that, rather it is what we want to hear or not. He does not write the show but often gives better insight on Klaus. Joseph knows Klaus and Caroline fans will be around for the long haul and that's just fine with me as it is with him too. Thank you Joseph....

Is there still hope...

Absolutely, Julie Plec is no fool. Even if Klaus and Caroline move on to find comfort in others. The Klaus and Caroline story always has the chance to continue. She's a writer after all and eventually both shows will come to an end. Which means Klaus and Caroline still have a chance until both stories do.
