Easter is one of the most exciting events of the year. You get to decorate bunny cookies, draw invisible words on eggs, and compete in brutal Easter egg hunts. To get into the spirit of Easter (as well as a Marvel fan can), I created my own Easter Egg hunt, where I chose my top five favorite Marvel Easter Eggs of all the Marvel movies. So without further ado, The Marvelous Easter Egg Countdown!

The Marvelous Easter Egg Countdown

5. Project Pegasus/Project 42

Coulson hands Tony Stark a stack of files in Avengers. One of them reads Project Pegasus. Project Pegasus is actually a project that Stark works on during the Civil War Story-line. It is a secret prison for super-villains called Project 42 that is located at Project Pegasus. Will we see this later in Captain America: Civil War?

4. The Infinity Gauntlet

Way back in Thor, Marvel introduced the Infinity gauntlet. It's up against a far wall, and can only be seen extremely briefly as the Destroyer awakes in the treasure vault. I can assure you, we will see that again...

3. Pulp Fiction

This is what Nick Fury's tomb reads after Captain America: The Winter Soldier. What most people do not know, is that this is the verse that Samuel L. Jackson quotes before killing someone in the hit movie Pulp Fiction. So Pulp Fiction exists in the world of Marvel?

2. S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Superhero Map

You only catch a brief view of this map in Iron Man 2. However, you can tell that parts of the world like Africa and the Atlantic Ocean are marked, indicating that Namor and Black Panther are very real and probably will come to the MCU sooner or later.

1. Stan the Man

No matter what Marvel movie it is, new or old, Stan Lee makes a cameo. Sometimes it's really obscure, sometimes it's really obvious. Whatever the case may be, there's no denying it. Stan is the Man.

So there you have it! There are my favorite Easter Eggs of this Marvelous Easter season. What are yours?
