With less than two weeks remaining until Mortal Kombat X releases onto our next gen consoles, the hype and anticipation into what characters will return or make an emphatic debut has been the talk of many an internet forum.

NetherRealm are crashing Mortal Kombat X into the next generation of gaming with all out awesomeness. (That is an official word when it comes to Mortal Kombat X)

We can now finally showcase the full roster of playable characters that will hit your gaming machines later this month.

First things first, did you predict the roster correctly? Are you happy or disappointed with the Mortal Kombat X line up? Let's talk about it below..

How Mortal Kombat X is keeping it fresh

Mortal Kombat X - Brutal
Mortal Kombat X - Brutal

After introducing brand new characters and paying homage to the oldschool characters NetherRealm are making one heck of a statement with Mortal Kombat X.

Mortal Kombat X seems to be bringing all the greatest aspects from previous Mortal Kombat games and crashing them all together in one epic edition of fighting fury.

Mortal Kombat X will not be shy of a storyline either, NetherRealm have focused not only on the fighting but have proactively sourced a viable and highly entertaining storyline. Straight out of the 90's, Mortal Kombat X is cheesy one liner galore.

Fatalities are bigger and better!

I don't need to tell you by now that Mortal Kombat X is getting even more brutal. The old school brutalities are back! Netherrealm are bringing back the limb snapping finishers from the past. These brutal finishing moves were first Introduced back in 1995 to give Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 more bang for its buck. Check out these brand new character and fatality editions!

Mortal kombat fans of old will reminisce of fights gone by that often culminated in many different extremely gory fatalities. These brutalities certainly provided an alternative to the traditional MK finishing moves.
