Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has always been a very anticipated movie amongst many superhero fans. Ever since it was announced on July 20, 2013, fans were immediately interested. Though initially scheduled for release on July 17, 2015, the film was delayed and the current (and hopefully final) release date is March 25, 2016. Why does this all matter? It matters because in this movie, many major characters are introduced. Plus, the release date was pushed back to be closer to big films like [Justice League Part One](movie:401267) and The Flash.
We already know five out of seven of the heroes will make an appearance: Superman, Batman, [Wonder Woman](movie:45787), Aquaman, and Victor Stone/Cyborg. So that brings up the big question:
Will The Flash appear in [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870)?
I would like to think at the very least, he will have a cameo as his secret identity Barry Allen--or Wally West. However, this is looking more and more like a Justice League origin story, so could he put on the red tights and go for a sprint?
(Before you ask, Grant Gustin's TV version of The Flash will not be involved with the DC Cinematic Universe.)
Here are five ways how the Scarlet Speedster could make an appearance in the film.
1) The Flash vs. Superman race for charity
The Flash was introduced in Bruce Timm's Superman: The Animated Series in an episode titled "Speed Demons." Like in the comics, Superman and The Flash race for charity. This Flash (with his alter ego ambiguous) was very cocky, just like characters that Ezra Miller has played. To make a long story short, The Flash and Superman stop the race and prevent Weather Wizard from causing harm. In Batman v Superman, this race could show how superheroes are helping raise money for those in need and demonstrate The Flash's powers.
2) The Flash stops a robbery
Last year, a rumor came from The Daily Superhero that stated:
"During the convenient store robbery a sudden “flash of wind” is seen in the security camera footage and revealed to me as being a cameo tease for the Flash."
Essentially, there is a robbery and The Flash stops anything from being stolen.
Where could we see this footage? Either it could be on the news, Luthor is looking for superhumans, Batman is studying superhumans, or all of the above.

3) Barry Allen (or Wally West) comes to Gotham or Metropolis
It sounds so simple. It probably could be that simple. However, not knowing his alter ego makes it hard for me to wonder how.
This may sound like how Barry Allen came onto Arrow, but perhaps Barry (or Wally) admires Superman and after getting his powers seeks to find Superman.
4) The Flash vs. Superman--fighting, not racing.
To summarize first two issues of Justice League (New 52), Batman and Green Lantern go to Metropolis to find the only known alien. Upon meeting each other, Superman thinks Batman is a parademon simply because Batman is carrying a Mother Box from another parademon. Batman and Superman face off. Meanwhile, Green Lantern calls Barry Allen, who appears in a flash. Superman and The Flash have a little fight, but it ends when Superman flicks Barry. Then, the four of them realize that it was one big misunderstanding and become super friends. Questions?
Honestly, this would be an awesome movie sequence. It would have to be modified, but it could work.
5) The Justice League forms and The Flash is present
This is one of my favorite possible scenes of the film. It has been heavily rumored and hoped that the Justice League assembles--I mean unites--at the end of the film. Every member would appear in their costumes, and in all their glory, ready to fight whatever threatens Earth.
How do we know Ezra Miller will be part of this adventure?
First of all, reliable sources such as The Hollywood Reporter and Variety have claimed The Flash will appear in Dawn of Justice, but in a small role.
Very recently, we got a peak at the Batman v Superman credits.
Two Justice League members, Momoa and Fisher, as Aquaman and Cyborg (who we know will appear in the film), are not credited here. Ezra Miller is also unlisted. There is much hope here.
Expect Ezra Miller as The Flash to appear in Batman v Superman!
There are many possibilities I have written here. We have always known that Dawn of Justice would set up the Justice League, so it would be weird for him to not show up.
Now it is your turn! Tell me what you think!
