I stare at my friend's pitbull Sally, her eyes fixed onto me. She communicates with little grunts and incredibly expressive eyebrows. Often times, just because I know she is on the brink of English anyway, I'll talk for her and even fake a silly voice, creating minute-long monologues in which she discusses squirrels, lack of fancy dog food and the fact that 30 minutes of straight petting isn't nearly sufficient enough.

In the film The Voices, Ryan Reynolds stars as Jerry, a man who is able to communicate with animals, including his pet dog and cat. With encouragement from his psychiatrist, Jerry decides to pursue his office crush. After she stands him up, Jerry's anger turns murderous. With a devil cat on one side, and an angelic dog on the other, Jerry must choose between a good or evil path.

Reynolds is an insanely talented actor, as he provided voice overs for all the animals featured in the film. Below is an exclusive clip showing a behind-the-scenes look at Reynolds working his magic in the recording booth.

The Voices features an array of phenomenal actors, including Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton, Anna Kendrick, and Jacki Weaver. The film was released earlier this year, but is now available on On Demand and released on Digital HD and Blu-ray, complete with behind-the-scenes featurettes, a sketch gallery, behind-the-scenes voiceover sessions, and animatics.
