[Marvel](channel:932254) is known for their post credit scenes. People have learned to stay after the credits are finished just to see something that teases the future of this blockbuster cinematic universe. Will we have to say goodbye to our beloved Howard the Duck and Shawarma post credit scenes?!

"What Movie is NOT getting an end credit scene?" This one below. Have you heard of it?

With a heavy heart, I now announce to you all that the upcoming sequel to the third highest grossing movie of all time, [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035), will not have an end credit scene. Here is what Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige had to say in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:

Whedon and Feige with the main man: Stan Lee!

“We all came at it separately—we don’t want to chase that. That was a jewel and a weird little quirk." -Joss Whedon, director of Avengers 2

Should we be panicking? How could you ever forget all that set up, all that preparation for the greatest crossover film of all time?

Don't worry, we'll still get a mid-credits scene. You know, the one you don't care about because you want to get that end credits scene? That's more important now....

“There will be a tag. That is, there will be a short, epilogue-like scene that pops up shortly after the credits start. But there’s not a post-post-credit scene.”

Kevin Feige, film producer/President of Marvel Studios, and the saviour of Spider-Man

“It didn’t seem to lend itself in the same way, and we wanted to be true to what felt right. The first rule of making a sequel is take the best moments and do something else. Don’t do the Indiana Jones gun trick again differently. Just go somewhere else. Don’t try to hit the same highs, because people will sense it.”-Joss Whedon

However, the end-credits are the big (or small) reveal of what is to come (or a scene with a certain Duck that made me laugh), right? The mid-credits just close the film, like an epilogue. So there is one thing we have to rule out happening in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. This:

Too bad.

What will Marvel use to close off the film?
