Shailene woodley will star in the film alongside Levitt as Snowden's girlfriend Lindsay mills.Woodley seemed to revel in being able to play this role and was determined to learn everything she could about the character she was playing. the real Mills was at the oscars and was accepting an award for the documentary "Citizen four" on behalf of Snowden. In the film we will see how Woodley is able to convey mill's thoughts and emotions concerning the action's of her boyfriend. The Actress even went out of her way to praise Snowden and called him a real hero.

Ultimately the fallout of Snowden's actions have divided the country about surveillance and maintaining national security. Some praised Snowden as a hero and champion of the constitution who fought for what was right.Very few believe that Snowden taking on the government was an act of courage and bravery since he was shining a light on it's lesser known activities .The opposing side believes that Snowden is a traitor and has committed an act of sedition against the U.S.They believe that Snowden has made the country more vulnerable in a false display of patriotism.Perceptions aside, this film will most likely reiterate growing distrust of the government or simply reinforce that Snowden has crossed a line in his crusade.Inevitably the film will spur debate between the differing sides of the Snowden dilemma as well as change the political and social climate of the country forever.
