The 1990s. A decade we should be thankful for, because no decade did romantic high school teen comedy quite like the 1990s.

Ok, so the '80s had The Brat Pack and The Goonies, and random dance sequences - BUT the 1990s made the school hallways the most dramatic thing ever. Fashion and love never meant so much, and it was great.

So imagine the excitement to hear that the nerd/jock, nerd and jock fall in love, nerd wears a nice dress, jock sees there's more to life than just popular girls extravaganza that is She's All That is to be given a remake!

Rumor has it that Miramax and The Weinstein Company are interested in developing the project with Spike Lee's wife Tonya Lewis Lee set to produce the film.

A lot has happened since the films release in 1999, what are the original cast up to now?

Freddie Prinze Jnr as Zach Siler

Class president, star of the soccer team and all round good guy Zac, he had all the characteristics needed for the perfect 90's teen romcom leading guy.

After the hit film Freddie married Sarah Michelle Gellar who he met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer and they have since had two children. Aww.

He also starred as Fred Jones in the Scooby Doo films and became a producer for WWE.

Taking the role of Cole Ortie in the eighth season of 24, he's now the voice of Kanan in Star Wars Rebels.

Rachael Leigh Cook as Laney Boggs

Laney went from sweet geek to beautiful and popular, and was just about envied by every girl that watched the movie.

Rachael went on to critical acclaim in the movie The Bumblebee Flies with Elijah Wood in 2010.

She has since opened her own production company 'Big Sister Productions' and played Special Agent Katherine Rose "Kate" Moretti in the now cancelled Perception.

Matthew Lillard as Brock Hudson

Matthew was in many a 90's classic, "Liver alone" in Scream is a genius line. Just me?...ok.

As Brock he played a reject from The Real World...so 90's!

Teaming up with Freddie again in 2002 and 2004 he played everyones favorite stoner Shaggy Rogers in the Scooby Doo movies.

He has also had guest parts in House, played Daniel Frye in The Bridge and he also produced and directed his own movie Fat Kids Rule The World.

Most recently he has done some voiceover work for the movie Under Wraps with Brooke Shields and Drake Bell.

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe as Taylor Vaughn

Playing the bitchiest most popular girl at school Jodi, she left poor Zac for Brock, who breaks her heart, the nasty boy.

But since Jodi has gone on to star in Prison Break and has appeared in shows such as Charmed, Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory.

She is also a licensed Bounty Hunter which is pretty cool, random, but cool!

Kieran Culkin as Simon Bogg

Playing Laneys cute younger brother Kieran seemed to move on from 'adorable child actor' to serious actor rather quickly.

After hit films such as Cider House Rules and Igby goes down he was set for movie stardom.

But, he decided to quit films and took a six year break working in theatre.

He has returned to the small screen playing Rye Gerhardt in comedy series Fargo.

Ann Paquin as MacKenzie Siler

Ann has come a long way since playing the sarcastic younger sister to Zac.

She played Rogue in the X-Men movies! AND waitress Sookie Stackhouse in True Blood.

X-Men: Days of Futures Past director Simon Kinberg has said that Ann's character makes a cameo appearance in the extended version of the latest movie.

Jesse Jackson as Elden Hanson

Laney's dungaree wearing lovable pal Elden! He was the sweetest guy ever in that movie!

Jesse has had guest roles in Psych, Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy.

Dulé Hill, Preston

Zach's calmer friend, Preston was a voice of reason throughout the movie.

Dulé has now made a successful transition to television.

He played Charlie Young, a presidential aide on The West Wing for a whopping seven season.

He has also appeared in Psych (who hasn't the cast list is crazy!) as P.I Gus Guster.

Gabrielle Union as Kate Darlington

She was a popular girl with a heart of gold in the movie, and after this hit she went on to grab a role in the huge Bring it On as a cheerleader.

Since she has starred as a Klingon in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, played Will Smith's girlfriend in Bad Boys 2 and teamed up with Beyonce in Cadillac Records.

Gabrielle also played Kristen in the highly successful Think Like A Man movies.

Last, but by no means least....

Paul Walker as Dean Sampson

His break through role Paul played bet setter Dean who challenges Zach to find a nerdy girl and turn her into the prom queen.

Obviously, we all know what he went onto next, playing Brian O'Connor in the MASSIVELY huge Fast and Furious movies.

Sadly, Furious 7 will be Paul's final appearance and swan song.

The talented, handsome and caring actor was travelling home from an event for his charity Reach Out Worldwide to raise money for victims of Typhoon Haiyan when the car he was traveling in smashed into a concrete lampost and two trees killing the actor, who was a passenger and his friend as they were travelling at speeds of upto 100mph.

His death has been mourned by millions and his final film has been dedicated to his memory.
