It's like Adele sings it, "Rumor has it!" Right now there is a red hot rumor going around that Ernie Hudson could be taking on the role of King T'Chaka, the father of Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, The Black Panther.
Hudson, who many of us know from "Ghostbusters" along with a plethora of other film credits would be a good fit for the role. He's got the action and geeky credit to be loved by the Marvel audience, and he could totally pull off the role of the King of Wakanda.
Black Panther is going to make his debut in 2017's '[Captain America: Civil War](movie:994409)" but we might get a little taste of Wakanda in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Marvel has made us no promises, however. As far as Black Panther's father goes, he likely won't be showing up until the [Black Panther](movie:9047) solo film in 2018.
