Tomorrow will be a big day for Marvel. Daredevil comes onto Netflix, which will then open up a whole new side of the MCU. Not only will we see Daredevil tomorrow, but we'll soon see A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the mini-Avenger style event The Defenders. So how will all these TV shows connect? If they're in the MCU they will connect right? Of course they will!
Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television, said this,
Sometimes it may be a very subtle thing, like they go to the same hospital, because they’re in the same neighborhood. That is a very organic way of doing it… It may be in a very unexpected way. You may go, ‘Oh, I know that cop! That’s the same cop that’s in this one,' and that should feel very much like it’s in that world.
This is a very interesting take on the Easter Egg idea in the MCU. Before Daredevil, we'll only have had heard namedrops, seen weapon Easter Eggs, and even seen superhero Easter eggs. So the whole idea that the Easter Eggs in Daredevil and beyond will be small and environment related, could actually make the MCU feel even more connected and strongly bound together.
