Hey, hey, hey, I'm back again! This time, I was a little differently inspired...I saw an article on here a few weeks back detailing someone's live-action Disney Princess fan choices and I knew I had to do my own!

When I started jotting down my ideas for the princesses, I realized I very well couldn't just cast the princesses without their princes. In this article, I've stated my choices for the princesses with their princes (with the exception of Snow White) and I'll be later posting an article with my choices for some of the random Disney characters I'd like to see in a live-action movie, which includes some villains.

Sprinkled in this article are photo edits of some actors with the characters I've chosen for them to portray, but I didn't do the edits, the tumblr account summerhall did them. I didn't agree with all of her choices and I picked a lot of my choices before I realized she had done an edit for them. I love the way they look and how they can totally convince you of an actor playing the role. Under all the edits, I've once again stuck the link to her tumblr account - check her out!

To make sure I didn't forget anyone, I looked up the princess line from Snow White, all the way to our newest addition, Merida!

So without further ado, here we go...

Snow White - Holliday Grainger

Known for Cinderella (2015), The Borgias

There are a ton of choices I've seen for Snow that I thought would be great, but when I stumbled across Holliday Grainger, I knew she had the look for Snow. Just imagine her hair that dark brownish-black and she's got the face down. While looking for her Prince Ferdinand, I came to the conclusion that I didn't honestly think Ferdinand had that big of a role in Snow White. It's been awhile since I've seen Snow White, so I also didn't pick a Ferdinand because I couldn't think of a single soul to play him. Gimme suggestions in the comments?

Cinderella & Prince Charming - Lily James & Richard Madden

These two lovelies played Cinderella and her Prince Charming in the 2015 Cinderella live-action movie. I love them so much as the two that I had to leave them as they were. They have great chemistry on-screen, and if ever their characters were to come up again, I'd love to see them play Cinderella and Prince Charming again.

Aurora & Prince Philip - Elle Fanning & Brenton Thwaites

Once again, these two darlings played Aurora and Prince Philip in the 2014 Maleficent movie. I loooooove Elle as Aurora, she brought the right amount of innocence and playfulness to the role. As for Brenton, I think he's a great actor, we just didn't see much of him in the movie. So, if they did have an opportunity for the characters to be brought to the screen again, these two are just perfect!

Ariel & Prince Eric - Jane Levy & Logan Lerman

Okay, okay. I can hear it now. "Jane?! LoGAN?!" Yes, yes. Not everyone will agree with these choices, but I pick the actors I do based on their age in relevance to each other and my opinion of their acting ability. I picked Jane as Ariel first, and in order to pick her Prince Eric, I had to find an actor close in age with the right looks for Eric. Not to diss Logan, I just don't think he'd be my first choice. But because he's my close second, and he's close in age to Jane, he is my Eric.

Belle & Prince Adam (Beast) - Emma Watson & Sam Claflin

Known for the Harry Potter series, The Bling Ring

Emma has already been cast as the darling Belle, and I'm in love with the choice. She's got the perfect amount of elegance and sass that comes with playing Belle. The actor that's cast to play Beast, I've never seen before and I'll admit that I'm already passing judgement. I'd rather have someone I know playing a character I adore, which is why I picked Sam. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but in my perfect casting world, Sam would be our Beast.

Jasmine & Aladdin - Nishi Munshi & Avan Jogia

I have to thank summerhall's tumblr for introducing me to the idea of Nishi playing Jasmine, because it's a beautiful choice and I love it. I know she's been in a few things, say The Originals, but I haven't seen her act which is probably why I hadn't chosen her myself, lol. Avan is around the perfect age for Aladdin and to act across Nishi, that was an absolute no-brainer for me. Both of these actors would be perfect for Aladdin and Jasmine!

Pocahontas & John Smith - Julia Jones & Garrett Hedlund

I could think of no one more perfect for Pocahontas than Julia; Native American and beautiful? Duh. Julia is very talented and we need actual Native people to play Native characters (*cough* Rooney Mara *cough*). I then went on a quest to find the most white guy I could around Julia's age. And, ta-da!, I present Garrett! The whole blond hair, blue eye thing is totally John Smith and I think he's got the acting chops to play John.

Mulan & Li Shang - Brenda Song & Eugene Yang

Firstly, where the hell did Brenda even go after all these years? Little cameos aren't enough for me! From everything I've seen her in, I know Brenda can slay Mulan. Now, Eugene is my biggest wildcard choice I've ever made - he's only ever done Buzzfeed videos. Though, because he and Brenda are close in age and both have the right ethnicity (and I'm fond of Eugene), I've cast him as my Shang. If you have someone else you'd love to see, shoot me a comment!

Tiana & Prince Naveen - Anika Noni Rose & Michael Ealy

I think Anika was very obvious for me from the very beginning - I love her voice and she did the voice of Tiana for the animated film. Now, Michael was all courtesy of summerhall. I never would've thought of him otherwise, but once I saw him I fell in love! He's definitely got the acting chops to play such a complex character and I think he's pretty cute (those eyes!). Considering, if they actually did a live-action adaptation, a lot of the movie would be CGI anyway, even if you don't like the way he looks for Naveen, go check out some of his movies - he'll make you think twice.

For these characters, I had Amanda and Zachary in mind for a long time; apparently, I'm not the only one! I love the edits summerhall did for both Rapunzel and Flynn, because they're gorgeous! Amanda has a great voice with such a pretty, innocent look but can turn the fiery on really quick - perfect for Rapunzel! And, not to mention, Zachary looks just like Flynn. I mean, I get he was the voice, but the creators didn't make Rapunzel look like Mandy Moore, sooo.

Lily Cole will always be my first choice for Merida - just look at that edit! She'd be perfect! Now, I realize she's got quite the unique look at first glance, but she's beautiful and would be wonderful in such an empowering role! This means nothing against Sophie, though. If she was offered the role, I wouldn't be crushed. She's a great actress and would do Merida justice.

(BONUS - because Elsa & Anna haven't been officially added to the Princess lineup!)

Emma Stone as Anna? It almost feels like a no-brainer; she's dorky and a little clumsy, but at the same time can slam us with all of her elegance. Jake as Kristoff? Ok, little less of a no-brainer, but I can see it! He's usually playing a villain of sorts, just 'cause he's really good at it, but I'd like to see him play a character with absolutely no mean-streak in him! To round off those two, the beautiful Amber Heard to play the equally beautiful Elsa. It just makes sense to me and I love it.

These are just my princesses and princes! Keep a look-out for my next article of Bonus Disney Characters! I'll update you there with some more of my fan-cast ideas (including a live-action Disney's Hercules!) and I'll be pitching in some really out there characters - mostly villains I believe.
