I love a good Netflix binge as much as the next guy and am a decent fan of Arrow, Flash and Gotham #DCtvOD and tend to steer clear of shows like Agents of Shield. Why? Because, in my opinion, they are not dark enough, and I feel like telling a story that keeps changing as the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe for you non-nerds, unlike me) unravels makes it hard for the plot to develop as I'd like for it to. So when Marvel announced their plan to turn the Comic Series of Daredevil into a tv show, I was intrigued, especially after the Daredevil/Electro fiasco with Ben Affleck. Then, the trailers started rolling in and I was pleasantly surprised with the concept. Today, the long anticipated show hit Netflix, and currently, though only on episode 4, I'm truly impressed with the show and would say that it is well worth your binge time.
At last I'm pleased to find a Marvel TV Show with a plot dark and rich enough to stand rival to shows such as Arrow. With a TV MA rating for what thus far I presume to be the violence, Marvel/Netflix are not afraid to lean heavily and embrace the dark theme. At last we have the Daredevil that we deserve, I highly endorse Marvel's Daredevil which can be found on Netflix.
