Teen Wolf head of Fan Engagement and Marketing Matt McDonough says fans should check out the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday for something “exciting” about Teen Wolf Season 5. According to teenwolfnews.com, he offered up this suggestion on twitter Saturday, “Anyone excited about @MTVteenwolf and @MTVScream should be really REALLY excited about the tomorrow...”

Scream is a new show set for a summer debut on MTV. It is based on the movie series of the same name.

McDonough said previously that footage of Teen Wolf Season 5 will be shown during MTV’s annual meeting with potential advertisers later this month. The “MTV Upfronts” help determine how much the network can charge for commercial time and traditionally the meeting includes presentations from the network’s new and returning shows. Teen Wolf remains MTV’s highest rated drama and its most successful scripted effort to date.

While McDonough’s tweet offered no details to get fans “excited,” MTV later confirmed we will be seeing new Teen Wolf video during the awards. The official Teen Wolf Twitter posted "OMG Y'ALL. The first look at is coming. " shortly after 3PM on Saturday.

The MTV Movie Awards airs Sunday, April 12 at 8pm EDT. Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien is nominated in several categories thanks to his performance in The Maze Runner. Voting is still open through Saturday night and you’ll find all the details and links where you can vote in this teenwolfnews.com report.
