Woke up to this little bit of news;

"In terms of the age of what we believe Peter Parker is, I’d say 15-16 is right," Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is reported saying in regard to the "Spider-Man" reboot; expected to be released in 2017.

That's right friends! Looks like the next Spider Man franchise is going to take us back to high school. We'll be exploring the life of a snot-nosed kid by day, web-slinging Superhero at night after he's done his homework.

There are definite advantages to exploring a teenage Spidey. The stories can really show a growth on screen for the character whereas the prior movies couldn't wait for him to "grow up". We can really get a glimpse as to the evolution of a hero from a teenager in high school.

It's too early to speculate on who will play the character, my money is on a little known young man, maybe from Nick TV or Disney, who knows. Since early speculation leads to Spidey's first appearance to be in Captain Americas Civil War.

Looks like we'll be in for a treat for the next phase of Marvel movies, and the next chapter in the Spiderman trilogy.
