I'm pretty sure I am not the only one that is super excited to see Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool in this upcoming Marvel Movie. Okay, I am definitely not the only one (my flatmate freaks out every time I mention it).

After watching the test footage featuring Ryan Reynolds voice, I wouldn't stop fangirling. Having rewatched it just now, I can say I am currently singing "Angel" and dancing about in front of my screen.

Oh, hello there! I bet you're wondering, why the red suit? Well, that's so bad guys can't see me bleed!

Anyway, back to what I was saying, after watching the video I am sure you found a funny side to this. Which is one of the many reasons why he is one of my favourite [Marvel](channel:932254) characters ever. From reading the comics, to seeing him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and now having his own movie, I have gained a love for his honesty and sarcasm (a thing I live for). Here in X-Men Origins: Wolverine you can see his sass towards Wolverine (Logan at the time) and how can you not love his comebacks?

Wade Wilson: Thank you, sir. You look really nice today. It's the green. It brings out the seriousness in your eyes.
Logan: Oh, my God. Do you ever shut up, pal?
Wade Wilson: No. Not when I'm awake.

Just remembering Ryan Reynolds say this gives me that creepy fangirl smile I usually only get with Benedict Cumberbatch (I'll get to him in a later post, I promise). Even in the test footage the statements he, as a character, comes up with is pure genius. I wish I could come up with the things he says or does, maybe not in those situations but in daily life. Maybe when something isn't going your way, you could draw a little doodle of what you would do to that person (not in that way shhh) and show it to the person who is annoying you and they would be scared and run far far away. BOOM! Life sorted. Also it would be so cool to break the fourth wall in real life without looking completely mental. I'm pretty sure everyone has spoken to themselves once in a while and wished they were as cool as maybe Frank Underwood in House of Cards or basically any cool fourth wall breaking magic. Maybe roaming around and saying *nailing the accent to a T* "Crime's the disease, meet the cure. Okay, not the cure, but more like a topical ointment to reduce the swelling and itch." isn't the best idea but it sounds ridiculously awesome.

The costume reveal had me squealing, again, like if Benedict Cumberbatch was there (I swear I am not obsessed). But I was thrilled that the costume looks so good and just exactly, what I am sure, is what people wanted. I thought it was a 3D animation until I read it is actually Ryan Reynolds in a costume. HOT DAYUMM!

That fire isn't the only thing that's smoking hot.
That fire isn't the only thing that's smoking hot.

Another thing that makes me excited for this movie was the confrontation about the PG-13 rating by Ryan Reynolds himself which was made on April Fool's Day but was possibly the best thing ever for any [Deadpool](movie:38663) fans out there. Having a little sneak peak to Ryan in his costume, the voice he will be using for the character as well as the little doodle he did of, excuse my language, "wrecking" Mario Lopez.

I'll let you have a look at that and gain the open mouth shocked face emoji I had when this came out. Which brings to the point that every time Deadpool see's his name on the screen he always makes a comment. In the test footage he went "Oh, F*** Me" as soon as the title popped up on the screen which I think is a correct reaction (Me. When I finally have my own movie, maybe). In this he confronted the fact that it was an April Fools joke, but I was far too excited to understand.

How about you? Are you as excited as me to finally see a full length feature film of maybe one of the most interesting and sarcastic characters? Do you think Ryan Reynolds will do well in this role (forgetting about Green Lantern shh)? Let me know in the comments!

Also for a few more videos to show the background of Deadpool and what Ryan Reynolds has to say about the character here are a few links to quench your marvel thirst. If you haven't watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine then maybe skip the ones that are about that film and go watch it NOW!

Oh, before I forget, Ryan Reynolds was mentioned in a Deadpool comic.

*Deadpool voice* This shit is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S (HI TOM!)
