(Note, the article below is largely SPOILER-FREE, though if you were hoping to spot every single Easter egg on your own, you might want to proceed with caution)
Now, there were a whole lot of awesome Easter eggs hidden throughout Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil - which, if you haven't watched it yet, is awesome, and you should be doing that right now. Some, though, were a little more obvious than others - with one or two proving to be almost completely hidden.
Meanwhile, there was a distinct lack of cameos - with the eagerly-anticipated teasing of future Netflix shows instead taking the form of subtle set-ups and hinted plot-lines. That lack was so complete, in fact, that even Stan Lee didn't make his traditional appearance in the series.

It Turns Out Stan Lee Made a Secret Daredevil Cameo
Y'see, as it turns out, there's a direct link between those all-but-hidden Easter eggs, and the apparent lack of a Stan the Man cameo. Namely, that he did, in actual fact, appear - we just all missed it.
Or, at least, all but the most eagle-eyed among us did - with Hypable seemingly the first to spot the comic book legend's blink-and-you'll-miss it cameo.

Yup, that's right. Stan Lee's Daredevil cameo came in the form of a single photo on the wall, during one of the show's most intense scenes.
As showrunner Steven S. DeKnight put it:
Which, in fairness, it totally was.
