This article contains spoilers for the premiere episode of Game of Thrones Season 5, as well as potential spoilers for the remainder of the season. Tread lightly.

Things are never exactly relaxed at The Wall, but in recent days it's become tenser than ever.

The Night's Watch may have fought off the Wildlings, but they didn't do it alone. Now Stannis and his army are also sharing the Wall, adding an entirely new dangerous element into the mix. In a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, revealed things might get a bit volatile between Stannis and Jon. He explained:

Jon is used to having older, more powerful men than himself trying to tell him what to do. Now that he's got a real king doing that, he doesn't always listen this season. He's tired of being told what to do.

Of course, Jon already went against Stannis' wishes in the premiere episode of Game of Thrones Season 5, when he delivered a mercy shot during Mace Rayder's fiery execution. However, Harrington has suggested the premiere episode is leading to a "really interesting standoff" between Jon and Stannis. You can watch the two having a nice chat below:

But Stannis isn't the only one interested in the Bastard of Winterfell, apparently his Red Priestess Melisandre has also taken a shine to Jon. Carice van Houten, who plays the saucy zealot added:

There is something about Jon Snow that interests her. It could be a sexual thing. It's not unthinkable. But there might be something else about him.

To find out where this is all going, make sure to tune into Game of Thrones at 9 pm on HBO.
