Disney and Marvel Studios have kicked off press events with a huge bang. Kevin Feige, during the recent interview with Badass Digest, confessed some very big news about Scarlet Witch's inclusion in future films:
[...] [Scarlet Witch] deserves the cool intro, which will feed into another movie we start shooting in a few weeks.
The one and only Marvel film that begins production in a few weeks is none other than one of next year's most promising films, Captain America: Civil War. The minor rumor/popular fan theory that began circulating not too long ago that Scarlet Witch could appear in Doctor Strange now seems unlikely, as [Doctor Strange](movie:559685)'s production has been moved into November later this year. Still, the news that Elizabeth Olsen's new character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe will continue to be developed in future films in Phase 3 is definitely exciting.
So far, War Machine, Hulk, Thor, Quicksilver, Vision, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Agent 13, Captain Marvel, [Ant-Man](movie:9048), and Doctor Strange have not been addressed yet as to whether or not they will appear in the film, although it's important to note that [Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch](movie:1081109) have been described as inseparable and Vision is Wanda's comic book love interest. Does her involvement suggest their inclusion in the film as well?
Scarlet Witch will join the already-confirmed Iron Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Black Panther, and Spider-Man on May 6th, 2016 for [Captain America: Civil War](movie:994409).
