Daredevil on Netflix shut up all the haters. The reviews are in my friends, we have a new heavyweight on TV. Marvel has the ingredients here to revolutionize superhero stories for the small screen. The storylines of Matt's life in the early stages as the "Devil of Hell's Kitchen" are really building up something good here. Daredevil is totally badass in combat, but you still can't help but feel for him at the end of the battle when you see the price he pays.
You have to love the way they are building the demon inside Wilson Fisk. They aren't afraid to show the dark side of the underworld through him, as you see glimpses of his lost humanity. He's a calculating nutcase ready to go nuclear on Daredevil's life.
So, what now? How do you follow up this debut season? Who do you bring in? I tell you. You find a way to introduce The Black Widow into Matt Murdock's life in Season 2. Natasha Romanoff on Daredevil is the perfect bridge with Marvel's current movie universe.
I won't go as far as to start a relationship between these two eventual lovers this early in the series. In the comic universe, The Black Widow has been a constant in Matt's heart. They've seen the bed as many times as they've fought side by side. Yet, still it's way too early for that; it's strongly assumed The Black Widow is getting cozy with Bruce Banner in Age of Ultron.
Yet, with all the fires burning in the hell you call Matt Murdock's life, he can use a friend. A fellow "hero" who can help him with, dare I say "The Hand"? Stick, Nobu, and that mysterious person to whom Stick was talking, will be coming to Hell's Kitchen and we saw how bad Matt gets his ass kicked this season.
Who better to send than Natasha Romanoff?! Not only would it make sense, it would also excite every comic movie fan as the bridge between Marvel Movies and Marvel TV gets stronger. We already had cameos on Agents of Shield, so why not on Daredevil?
Why not with The Black Widow?
