Collector of all things Captain America, I mainly like Marvel and DC Comics, and am an authority on neither.

Marvel is on top of their game with their Cinematic Universe (for now, at least). And DC has definitely been killing it in television, animated features, and video games. But has anyone ever wondered what could be if the powers that be at Marvel/Disney and DC/Warner Brothers could put aside their differences to make some kick-ass Direct-To-Video Animated Features? I have! I even went as far as to email both quite some time ago, and have yet to receive a reply from either (If someone at Marvel and/or DC is reading this, please weigh in). I would like to share my two favorite Marvel and DC team-ups that I would absolutely love to see on the small screen.

There were a few inter-company crossovers that came before this one, but this is the first to attract my attention. Presumably, they would change some characters to reflect updated rosters, but what a team-up this would be! They could maybe even change up the villains to have Darkseid and Apocalypse face-off against everyone's two favorite teams of young heroes. There would really be no right or wrong way to put this together, as both teams have such a rich history. The possibilities are endless.

Speaking of endless possibilities: Justice League of America and T [The Avengers](movie:9040)! Two teams with massive rosters when you count active, non or semi-active, and reserve members. With the best-of-the-best of both company's powerhouse team books in this, the storyline could follow the comic mini-series almost verbatim. Who wouldn't want to see Batman and Captain America face-off to a draw? Or Superman wielding both Mjölnir and Cap's shield? With this much raw power on one screen, it would almost have to be a three-hour film!

Deadpool & Deathstroke The Terminator

There have been so many Marvel and DC crossovers throughout the years. Some bad, and some good. Even imagined fan-art crossovers like Deadpool and Deathstroke (which I think would be a "killer" film). With the long history of both Marvel and DC, and their plethora of characters to draw from, it makes sense to me that they could put aside their differences, and produce some amazing non-canon (Elseworlds/What If...?) crossover animated features to bring out the inner-fanboy/fangirl in us all. Let me know if you would like to see any of these, and what your ideas are.

IF Marvel and DC would ever collaborate on an animated feature, do you think it would be great, or be a bust?
