Back in the days of classic Disney Channel, a little show about a teenaged psychic really changed the game. Before That's So Raven, all Disney shows were canceled after only three seasons, but Raven Baxter was so successful for the channel that she got a fourth season. Let's remember this amazing series by watching the still-catchy intro...
Raven may have already seen all of this coming, but let's take a look at what the cast has been up to since That's So Raven started 12 years ago!
Raven Baxter - Raven-Symoné
Her psychic powers brought in the best ratings Disney Channel had ever seen up until that point, and, now without them, Raven's showing no signs of stopping. Symoné didn't stray too far from Disney, and in 2008, only a year after That's So Raven wrapped, she began voicing the fairy Iridessa in multiple Pixie Hollow and Tinker Bell movies.
After a few made-for-TV movies like Revenge of the Bridesmaids, Raven starred in a short-lived show on ABC Family titled State of Georgia. In 2012, she made her Broadway debut as the lead Deloris van Cartier in Sister Act. These days, she's enrolled as a full-time art student at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, but she's still made some acting time for cameos on shows like [Empire](movie:784585) and [Black-ish](series:1218911).
Chelsea Daniels - Anneliese van der Pol
Following her turn as the endlessly positive but slightly dimwitted Chelsea Daniels, Anneliese van der Pol has stayed active in acting. In 2007, she formed even stronger Disney roots by making her Broadway debut as Belle in Beauty and the Beast. After some more stage roles, Anneliese starred in the Twilight spoof Vampires Suck and the educational program Shalom Sesame. Her latest features is called Cats Dancing on Jupiter and also stars Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls.
Fun fact: Anneliese was originally offered the part of Kim Possible, which went to Christy Carlson Romano after Anneliese turned it down.
Eddie Thomas - Orlando Brown
Raven's other best friend is the playful and loyal Eddie Thomas, played by Orlando Brown. Like Eddie, Brown is also an aspiring rapper, but he's only released one album entitled Trade It All. Since 2007, he's been voicing the character Tommy "His Dishonor" on the PBS kids show WordGirl.
Since leaving That's So Raven, Brown has had a few run-ins with the law. In 2011, he was arrested for a DUI, which led to two subsequent arrests when he failed to complete the conditions of his probation and show up to court. However, he's got a couple projects in the works including American Bad Boy and [Straight Outta Compton](movie:332789).
Cory Baxter - Kyle Massey
After That's So Raven wrapped in 2007, Cory Baxter, the precocious little brother, got Disney's first spin-off show titled Cory in the House. The show lasted two seasons, and Kyle Massey followed it up with a few episodes on The Electric Company. In 2010, he appeared on the 11th season of Dancing with the Stars, where he was the runner up with the title "The Fresh Prince of DWTS."
Kyle went on to voice a main character in the cartoon Fish Hooks, and he's had some guest work on Being Mary Jane and [Gotham](series:1127075). In 2016, catch him in the movie Lowlifes.
Tanya Baxter - T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh
T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh played Tanya Baxter, Raven's caring and fun mother who was on the show for the first three seasons. Following That's So Raven, Keymáh took on some small roles in Let's Stay Together and a bunch of shorts. This year, she's appearing in a musical called Revival!
She looks absolutely luminous at 52-years-old, and I'm hoping that we see more acting projects soon!
Victor Baxter - Rondell Sheridan
Victor Baxter was the kooky and lovable dad who made his living as a chef. After That's So Raven ended, Rondell Sheriden joined his onscreen son for the spin-off series Cory in the House, in which Victor got a job as the chef to the President.
After leaving behind the Baxter family, he appeared in the movie Help Me, Help You and in one episode of The Jadagrace Show.
