Throwing a clutch of teenagers together in a competitive working environment creates a powder keg just ready to explode with hormonal angst, and nobody creates a fractious hothouse like Disney.
We all remember watching shows such as That's So Raven or Hannah Montana when we were kids, but did you have any idea about the dramas that were kicking off behind the rose tinted facade?
Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez used to be the best of friends until their relationship went seriously sour back in 2010.
Lovato was reportedly upset that Gomez had ditched her for her new BFF Taylor Swift and the former Barney buddies drifted apart. Justin Bieber also played a role in the dissolution of the friendship as Lovato reported has no love lost for the Canadian pop pustule.
When asked about what caused the trouble in paradise on What What Happens Live in 2014, Lovato explained that she unfollowed Selena on Twitter because:
I think its just one of those things where people change and people grow apart
Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas
Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas had a car crash of a break up back in 2008 and the pair haven't made amends since.
The former lovers instead reacted with maximum immaturity and ploughed their angst into music, probably due to the fact that the pair were only teenagers at the time.
Miley churned out the infamous '7 Things' video publicly trashing Nick and in return he wrote some pretty melodrama lyrics about the break up on 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
Check out Miley's offering below and look out for what looks suspiciosuly like Nick's photo making a cameo appearance:
Joe Jonas and Dylan Sprouse
When Joe Jonas bit the hand that fed him and wrote his tell all essay slamming Disney, Dylan Sprouse of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody fame sprang to attention and stuck up for the company.
He slammed Jonas' allegation that Disney squashed its young stars' creative freedom by saying:
I think it’s bullshit that they were being robbed of choice or creativity. If they wanted too, they could have told Disney 'NO.' Cole and I did this hundreds of times and we ended up all right. The only reason they didn’t is because, like many of the people on that channel, I think they fell for the allure of fame
Raven-Symoné and The Cheetah Girls
When Raven-Symoné was shoehorned into the third Cheetah Girls movie, things did not go well for the outsider. Once the ordeal was over, Raven told the press that:
It was weird, putting together young women our ages — 19 to 22 — one of whom had not been in the mix. I'll be honest. There were territorial issues. There were cat fights. It was not all peaches and cream off camera
Selena Gomez and Cole & Dylan Sprouse
The Sprouse twins struck out and Selena Gomez and told the world that the Wizards of Waverly Place actress didn't have any time for them when they were at Disney together:
Apparently the fact that the star didn't follow them on Twitter opened painful wounds. Ouch.
