[The Flash](series:1068303)'s first season is nearing to a close and if you've been following the show, you'd know that things are really starting to get real. So without further ado, I give you everything you need to know about the next 5 episodes

SPOILERS! DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU ARE NOT PASSED EPISODE 18 OF THE FLASH!

Episode 19 - Who is Harrison Wells?

Episode 19 is about the official investigation into Harrison Wells' identity and his connection to the Reverse Flash as shown in this promo.

The episode is also about the appearance of a metahuman who can shapeshift. It will be interesting to find out how the particle accelerator caused this man to gain shapeshifting powers.

A video posted on grantgustinnew's tumblr shows another promo for The Flash Episode 19 which focuses more on our shapeshifting metahuman, Hannibal Bates.

We now get a bit more context on what Bates can do. As Barry said, this metahuman can transform into anyone he touches, which could theoretically mean he could possibly copy The Flash's speed. This explains the seen we have been seeing in all of the recent trailers where The Flash looks like he is fighting himself, which was revealed at the end of the promo.

We also can now confirm that Eddie did not turn evil (yet) and shoot those cops, as it was Bates causing a bunch of mischief. Eddie himself also admitted in the promo that he did not shoot the cops and is most likely being framed.

'I didn't shoot those officers' - Eddie
This metahuman is going mess with everyones heads

One thing we do not know though is how Hannibal was able to see The Flash's identity and kiss Caitlin (as we also saw in the promo).

'What are you doing?'
'What are you doing?'

Another thing that is also possible is something we saw at the WonderCon 2015 trailer where we see Harrison Wells in the pipeline being visited by Barry.

This could be Bates again but it could also be the real Harrison Wells that was captured after a fight where the Reverse Flash fought Firestorm, The Flash and The Arrow, which is shown through the set images for episode 22. But as we heard in the promo, Bates has to TOUCH someone in order to take their form so I could be wrong.

It is unknown what Hannibal's motive is to enact all these random actions like taking Eddies form and shooting cops, taking Barry's form, and kissing Caitlin (kinda pervy to me). But I know that it's not gonna end well for our team. We know Cisco and Joe will not be involved in this since they will be heading to Starling City to investigate Harrison Wells' car accident, where Eobard Thawne takes his appearance.

'Well...that was new.'
'Well...that was new.'

That is everything about Episode 19. Moving on.

Episode 20 - 'The Trap'

Not much has been said about Episode 20 other than the synopsis -

Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) set a trap for Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Cisco uses himself as prey which puts him in grave danger. Meanwhile, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) makes a decision regarding Iris (Candice Patton), which leaves Joe a bit unsettled.

So judging by this synopsis we can tell that Episode 19 has given our team a little bit more info on the Reverse Flash. The reference to Cisco using himself as prey could be a nod to a similar situation in Episode 15 where *SPOILER ALERT* Harrison catches Cisco after he finds out that Wells is the Reverse Flash, which later leads to Cisco dying at the hands of Wells. Reading this synopsis, I can tell that this episode is going to be big.

Episode 21 - 'Grodd Lives'

I am getting chills just by looking at the title!!! GRODD IS COMING!!!! This is the synopsis:

THE FLASH
“Grodd Lives” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)
GRODD RETURNS! — Barry (Grant Gustin) must deal with the Reverse Flash’s (Tom Cavanagh) latest threat to a member of the group. To make matter worse, Dr. Wells unleashes Grodd on the city in order to distract Barry and the team. Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head down into the sewers to catch Grodd but the gorilla quickly gets the upper hand after he kidnaps Joe. Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry have a heart to heart talk. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Kai Yu Wu (#121). Original airdate 5/5/2015.
Not God...GRRROOODDDD.
Not God...GRRROOODDDD.

So let's break this down. First, 'Barry must deal with the Reverse Flash's latest threat to a member of the group.' My guess is that the member will be Cisco. Cisco is definitely being targeted by the Reverse Flash. I am basing this off 3 reasons. 1. Cisco gets killed in the timeline where Barry travels back in time. 2. Cisco remembers being killed in the alternate timeline, which exposes Harrison's identity as the Reverse Flash. And 3. Cisco uses himself as prey in Episode 20, which we're not quite sure how it pans out. Second, Grodd captures Joe when Cisco and Barry go into the sewers. When I read that, I immediatly thought of how Joe gets captured by The Weather Wizard in Episode 15. This proves Harrison's point in Episode 16, where he said to Barry that whatever catastrophe was avoided, time will find a way to replace it, like Joe being captured. COOL HUH??? Episode 21 is going to be epic.

Episode 22 - 'Rogue Air'

Come on. The title reveals a lot already. There is no official synopsis for this episode but some set photos have been released which show Arrow, Firestorm, and The Flash, facing off against Harrison Wells, which I mentioned before.

The title also reveals that we may see the rogues appearing again, but it maybe a different rogue group because we did see in one of the trailers that Mist, Weather Wizard, Rainbow Rider escape from the pipeline (god knows how), which could lead to them forming their own Rogue group.

'Take your last breathe'
'Take your last breathe'

So that's Episode 22.

Episode 23 (Series Finale) - 'Fast Enough'

The big series finale :( According to spoilers *SPOILERRSSS*

It will feature a showdown between The Flash and Eobard Thawne. 1v1 style.

There is no confirmed synopsis for this episode either (considering it is a long way away) but we have seen some set photos. The set photos reveal Eddie, Eobard and Barry on a bridge.

YOU CAN'T KILL HIM EOBARD YOU DUMBASS
YOU CAN'T KILL HIM EOBARD YOU DUMBASS
Chillin.
Chillin.

By these set photos, we can tell that something serious will happen. The most important image I saw was Eobard with a gun against Eddie. We cannot tell wether Eobard will kill Eddie or not, being he is a distant relative which would cause Eobard to never exist. An official image of this scene is shown in the WonderCon 2015 trailer, where Eddie is with Iris and gets attacked by the Reverse Flash.

The trailer also shows The Reverse Flash confronting Iris at the same place as well, which puts Iris in serious danger.

Something else big that will happen in the season finale is that it is rumored that:

Caitlin and Ronnie (Firestorm) will indeed get married in episode 23

If you read that, proof of this are these set photos, which reveal Ronnie and Dr Stein separated and Caitlin in a white wedding dress with Ronnie, about to get married. Stein is the priest which explains why they are separated.

Wether or not this goes well, this will definitely make a big milestone in Caitlin's story arc. If it doesn't, it may give birth to something.....Frosty.....

These next few episodes are really gonna finish off the season strong and I for one am super excited for the appearance of Grodd and what the Reverse Flash's next few moves are.

All I ask is: NO CLIFFHANGER ON EPISODE 23 OR I WILL ABSOLUTELY LOSE IT.
