Here is the latest installment of our live action Star Wars TV show concept "The Secret Missions" this piece is titled "BROTHERHOOD". I was so pumped from seeing all the new Star Wars movie and game imagery this week that I got to work on an image that has been rattling around in my head for awhile. Another great collaboration with my partner and photographer Mark Edwards and special thanks to our models Mickey Lee Bukowski (Scout) and Sam Newcomer (TK)

This has to be one of my favorite pieces of all time, because it shows something rarely seen in Star Wars. The toll and carnage of war, and the bond of brothers (Clones) in arms. I really wanted to create a powerful and emotional image that tells a story and causes the viewer to think about what is going on here? Were they raised together, did they go to basic training together, or were they just bonded from being in combat together?

I walk a fine line with my Star Wars art because I want to be respectful to Disney and Lucas and their properties. I usually don't show any blood in my art but this one just called for it, I didn't go overboard like Horror movie style. But part of the power and the emotion I was trying to convey in this piece is brought on by the fact that these two troopers are smeared in each others blood. I'm sure there is some Ewok blood mixed in there too! lol

I hope you like it and it stirs up something inside you and allows you to view the soldiers of the Empire as more human and less as drones.
