If you love the horror genre and have a passion for animals - we've got the perfect opportunity for you to be part of a fantastic indie film! Please check out our project and help us give charity to underprivileged animals.
Groetsch Entertainment has launched a unique fundraising campaign, with intentions of not only raising money to get its first produced feature film off of the ground, but also donating portions of the money raised to go towards helping animals around the country!
Here's what Justin Groetsch, Groetsch Entertainment's owner had to say about this passion project:
"I've always wanted to do something and make a difference in this world. At the same time, I've always loved movies and have been working in the industry for the past 15 years. Being the animal lover that I am, I made the decision to start a campaign not only raising money for filmmaking, but also for helping animals in need around the country. And this is just the beginning of what I intend to do as I move forward into the future."
The video promo shown above, titled "Inimical: Preload", along with various photographs, all viewable on the campaign website, gives a glimpse of the adventures of filmmaking, behind the scenes footage, while also touching on the feel of the company's upcoming feature film, titled "Inimical". The movie has the feel of films like the "Saw" and "Hostel" franchises, of course with its own originality, twists, and turns.
Don't let the horror and gore of his filmmaking fool you though, because when asked which of the two ventures is more important to Mr. Groetsch, he stated:
"In all honesty, if I had to decide on making movies or helping animals, hands down I would choose helping animals. The good thing about filmmaking is that it gives me the opportunity to become very successful. With that success comes the possibility of great wealth. And with great wealth comes the ability to help animals more than I would ever be able to in many other forms."
Justin has said that while he intends to make movies for the rest of his life, his intentions always have been and always will remain to be changing the world for the better. "Of course it's great to be rich and have expensive things. But you can't take money with you when you leave this world. So why not make a difference with that money while I'm here, alive, and able to?"
The campaign is currently live and runs through May 1st, 2015. Those interested in following Groetsch Entertainment and checking for updates as they move forward can do so on their official Facebook Pages.
