New [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) news has been hitting from left and right lately. On April 20, 2015, not only do special fans get to see the IMAX Batman v Superman teasers, but they also get free tickets for an early screening of the film itself. Also, a video detailing NBA player DeAndre Jordan's "field trip" to the new Batman exhibit was released by Bleacher Report.
There used to be some debate about which NBA player is the league's biggest Batman fan, but Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan has officially ended that discussion.
Right before the playoffs, [Lance Fresh] took DeAndre to the Batman Exhibit at the Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour Hollywood, and [Bleacher Report] surprised him with the new Batmobile and superhero suits from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, opening March 2016.
He is very lucky and if you saw the video, you could probably feel the sheer joy when he saw the new Bat-suit and Batmobile.
If you watched the full video, you also might have noticed something amazing: the costumes of the DC Trinity! If you did not, that is okay because I'm going to show you them right now!
Behold the Trinity.
This image may not be great quality, but it is a wide view at the World's Finest and the best super heroine ever. My first priority is not to analyze the Bat-suit, but something just as cool:
The Wonder Woman costume is wonderful!
The image is not from the video, but it comes from a person who actually went to the exhibit.
When first released on the internet, many viewers assumed that the costume was brown. Many still believe that it looks brown because they do not believe the image has a filter. Hopefully all those thoughts are now crushed.
As you can see, the battle skirt is a royal blue, the top is crimson, and the logos are bronze. Plus, the lasso is golden and not silver. The costume is pretty faithful to the comics and thats a fact. It combines elements from [Wonder Woman](movie:45787)'s many costumes.
This is very exciting because this is the first cinematic appearance of the Amazonian warrior. We still are waiting to see her in action. When we do spot her in a trailer, it will be glorious.
For those still bashing the casting of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, she will do fine. Snyder and Warner Brothers took a long time before deciding who was perfect of this beloved DC character. You may not see her talent, but they do. Gal Gadot will nail the role. Don't believe me? Just watch!
Batman is very bulky!
This image looks like it has been ripped straight from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel. It is simplistic and has an appropriate texture.
Superman's costume is super!
This costume looks different from the first reveal of him on a rooftop in the rain. The colors are brighter in person, perhaps even more vibrant than the Man of Steel costume.
Will we ever get to see the Trinity standing together?
I really want to see this moment, but honestly it's beginning to seem unlikely. Right now, the hype is around Batman and Superman fighting. One can hope though. To come in the future are images of Cyborg, The Flash, and Green Lantern.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice lands in theaters on March 25, 2016.
