It seems like [DC](channel:932255) has been a little quiet lately, in terms of smash hits and blockbuster success in the box office - at least in comparison to [Marvel](channel:932254), which seems to be able to do no wrong these days. But, please believe that DC is not going to go quietly into the night.

I'm pretty sure all of that is going to change, what with the release of [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) on the horizon. I mean, everyone has their personal preference when it comes to superheroes, but Batman and Superman definitely move the needle when it comes to the wow factor and filling theater seats. And with Ben Affleck bulking up for the role and bringing a lot of attention to the movie, I have a feeling this is going to be good.

Check out the trailer if you haven't yet seen it:

One problem some people had with the trailer, though, was that it didn't have enough action. It seemed extremely dark and gritty, but we didn't get to see any of those brilliant action sequences we've come to expect from recent Batman and Superman films.

Well, if you are wondering what it might look like when the two square off, you're in luck. We've come across some insane, albeit short, GIF footage of the final five seconds of the IMAX footage. Check it out below...

Okay, I guess the most important part is the actual finished product, but I'm glad for the sake of the movie that this footage surfaced. My only question is WHY couldn't they have included this in the normal trailer? It would've been the perfect way to cap off this dark, ominous vibe we all got from the footage and voiceover they give us.

Also, it was quick, but here is a nice little screenshot of the two squaring off here.

Batman looks MASSIVE. I like how they're staying true to the comics, and the bulkier suit. This movie needs to distance itself from The Dark Knight trilogy and really just become its own entity - which I think it will.

This is truly a heavyweight battle, and I think that's the main selling point for the film. I hope the next teaser they give us shows some more cool action, but I guess it doesn't really matter what they tease us with anyway. I know for a fact I'm going to see this movie and there's no need for the marketing team for the film to convince ME.

However, if they want to convince the AVERAGE moviegoer, which I'm sure they do, they might be well advised to give us some more brute force. We'll see...

Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice comes out March 25, 2016.
