Joseph Gordon levitt is not slowing down anytime soon. His next big movie will be the walk and it looks like it will be a breath-taking spectacle. The film has not been the biggest hot topic right now,but it it will be when it comes out. Levitt has shown a tremendous amount of passion when working on these kinds of projects and has always tried to give his best performance. The walk itself is more of a biographical since Levitt will be playing a famous high-wire walker who tries to attempt an amazingly deadly feat.

Here is the film synopsis:

Twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man has ever, or will ever, walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. Guided by his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy, and aided by an unlikely band of international recruits, Petit and his gang overcome long odds, betrayals, dissension and countless close calls to conceive and execute their mad plan. The film is a love letter to Paris and New York City in the 1970s, but most of all, to the Towers of the World Trade Center.

The walk looks like it will be just as thrilling as it is dramatic. Petit's high-wire walk was considered to be legendary and it's still regarded as one of the greatest feats ever attempted. This movie looks to possibly be an Oscar contender but some might look at the film as slightly controversial since the twin towers of the world trade center will be featured in the movie thanks to the magic of CGI and various VFX. The movie will most likely do well the box office since fans of the documentary will be interested in seeing how the biographical account is presented in a feature film.

The Walk arrives in theaters on October 2, 2015.
