For those excited for the release of Independence Day 2, you'll be happy to know, along with Jeff Goldblum, the film is set to star some pretty familiar faces.
Bill Pullman is returning as the inspiring President Whitmore, a character who has remained popular in the years since the film hit theaters in 1996, with his speech on the eve of the film's final act among its most quoted moments.
He'll be joined by Judd Hirsch, returning as Julius Levinson, father to Jeff Goldblum's character David Levinson.
Also returning to the Independence Day fold will be actress Vivica A. Fox. Fans of the 1996 original will remember that Fox played Jasmine Dubrow, the girlfriend of Will Smith's character, Captain Steven Hiller.
Smith, sadly, will not be returning.
And finally, Brent Spiner will be back for more alien action as Dr. Brackish Okun. This is surprising as many had assumed he died at the hands of one of the film's alien cast members while locked in a lab with the creepy creature.
So, there you have it, Infinite Earths fans! While we may not be seeing Will Smith kicking some alien butt for a second time, Independence Day 2 still looks to feature plenty of familiar faces once again.
Directed by Roland Emmerich, the film also stars Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher and Joey King. The aliens return to theaters on June 24, 2016.
Until next time, Infinite Earths fans!
