Between tabloid rumors and blind items, it's widely known that many celebrities rub some people the wrong way. This aggravation only gets doubled when it's not a crew member who has to endure the mistreatment, but another celebrity in the public eye.

Here's a list of nine bitter celebrity feuds that didn't stay secret for very long.

9. Charlize Theron vs. Tia Mowry

In what must be the most unexpected celebrity feud on the list (and certainly my favorite), Charlize Theron and Sister, Sister star Tia Mowry had it out over an exercise class. Apparently, Tia approached Charlize at SoulCycle, an indoor cycling class, and was met with a bitter snub:

"She wasn’t very nice to me. I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’ I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest."

Yikes. Supposedly, after Tia talked to the tabloids, Charlize attempted to get her forever banned from her SoulCycle class, throwing a wrench into Elle Woods' theory that endorphins make people happy.

8. Tom Cruise vs. Mark Wahlberg

Tom Cruise provoked the ire of Mark Wahlberg when he made comments comparing his separation from daughter, Suri, caused by his acting schedule to "someone fighting in Afghanistan." At the premiere of his film [Lone Survivor](movie:393327), Wahlberg indirectly addressed Cruise's comparison and was clearly upset:

"For actors to sit there and talk about ‘Oh I went to SEAL training,’ and I slept on the — I don’t give a f*ck what you did! You don’t do what these guys did. For somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as somebody in the military’s. How f*cking dare you. While you sit in a makeup chair for two hours."

A longtime supporter of the military, Wahlberg later apologized for "losing his sh*t" but not for the message of his tirade.

7. Azealia Banks vs. Iggy Azalea

Where to even begin with the never-flowery spat between rappers Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea? Let's just review the highlights. When XXL magazine listed Iggy as the female rapper to watch, Banks took to Twitter to call her out on the white girl's racist lyrics like "I'm a runaway slave...master." The resulting Twitter war eventually caused Iggy Azalea to suspend her social media accounts. This now-deleted quote from Banks about sums it up:

"Iggy Azalea is Satan in The Form of Mayonnaise ....."

It's safe to say that this feud isn't over, and as soon as Iggy takes full control of her Twitter again, you know this is going to reignite.

6. Ariana Grande vs. Jeanette McCurdy

These two Nickelodeon actresses were co-stars on Sam & Cat, but that doesn't mean they're the best of friends behind the scenes. In her web series What's Next for Sarah, McCurdy introduces a character named Gloriana, a vegan singer with a high ponytail, who is portrayed as self-involved, boastful, and demanding. In a series of tweets to Perez Hilton, McCurdy alleges that "Gloriana" cheats on her boyfriends.

McCurdy later tried to backtrack, saying that things she says get "misconstrued" and that she and Ariana only butt heads "in a very sisterly way." Hmmm, I'd prefer my sisters not to put me on blast, but that's just me.

5. Screech vs. All of Saved by the Bell Cast

Dustin Diamond has famously alienated the entire cast of Saved by the Bell, and the lingering animosity has meant that Screech is absent from pretty much all reunion events. This includes the recent return to Bayside High on Jimmy Fallon's late night show and a People magazine photo shoot. According to Mark-Paul Gosselaar, this rift was partially caused by Diamond's tell-all book that he even admitted was full of lies. Here's what Zack Morris had to say:

"What is he going to say? We were banging groupies at 14? I can't wait to read his book, because I don't have a memory of a lot of the shows. Maybe it was because I was doing lines off of the audience members' asses. I'm sure he's going to write something crazy like that. The truth is─the reason why the show worked and why it's still on today─we were good people and good to each other. We were innocent, naive kids. We were not jaded. So him writing a book, I'm not really afraid of what he has to say. There are not too many skeletons in my closet."

Since coming clean that the book was written by a ghostwriter and mostly fabricated, it only makes sense why these people would want to stay far, far away from Screech.

4. Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry

The feud between these two pop powerhouses apparently began over back-up dancers. Three of Katy's former dancers were on tour with Taylor when Katy offered them spots on her Prism tour. All of them decided to part ways with Taylor to rejoin Katy, and Taylor almost immediately unfollowed all of them on Twitter. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor implied the song "Bad Blood" might be about Katy:

"She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

Looks pretty concrete to me. A day after this interview was posted online, Katy tweeted the following:

3. Lucy Liu vs. Bill Murray

Rumor has it that while filming Charlie's Angels, Bill Murray stopped the cameras in the middle of a scene just to tell Lucy Liu that she couldn't act. The murky story purports that Liu did not take kindly to this remark and responded with a few punches. When questioned about the incident, Murray kinda, sorta admitted to the scuffle:

"Look, I will dismiss you completely if you are unprofessional and working with me…When our relationship is professional, and you’re not getting that done, forget it."

In more recent interviews, Murray says that the fight was blown out of proportion and he "feels very warmly" towards Liu now.

2. Robert Downey Jr. vs. Terrence Howard

When Don Cheadle took the part of James Rhodes for Iron Man 2, many of us wondered what happened behind the scenes to push out original star Terrence Howard. When Howard appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live in 2013, he blamed his famous co-star:

"It turns out that the person that I helped become Iron Man, when it was time to […] re-up for the second one took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out."

That "person" is obviously Robert Downey Jr., who hasn't commented publicly on these allegations. Howard goes on to say that RDJ never called him back when he felt the studio was edging him out. Looks like all friendships aren't iron-clad.

1. Justin Bieber vs. Orlando Bloom

I'll admit that I had a hard time choosing which Justin Bieber feud would work best on this list, but I landed on the most explosive. In 2014, Bieber and Orlando Bloom had a run-in that ended with Bloom throwing a punch at the young singer. Apparently, Bieber was taunting Bloom, who had recently divorced Miranda Kerr, saying that he slept with her while they were still together.

The best part of the encounter, however, was everyone else's reactions:

"When Orlando punched Bieber, everyone started clapping. Lindsay [Lohan] was laughing. It was amazing. The whole table he and DiCaprio were on were clapping. Afterwards, I don't know if people were congratulating Orlando or trying to calm him down."

Looks like even the celebs picked Team Bloom.
