Zetus lapetus! Can you believe it's been over 15 years since Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century aired on the Disney channel? It seems like just yesterday I was dancing around my living room with my sisters singing along to this little ditty:

Other than being a major disappointment for what the 21st century technology would actually look like (speaking of, where is my Smart House?), Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century was the movie that gave us all the hope of someday living in an awesome space station and cravings for onion rings.

So where are the stars of this futuristic TV movie in the present? Zip with me into the depths of the child stars of the late '90s and let's find out!

Zenon Kar - Kirsten Storms

After the first Zenon movie, our girl of the 21st century, Kirsten Storms, went on to reprise her role in the two sequels Zenon: The Zequel and Zenon: Z3. She also stuck to her Disney ties while voicing Bonnie Rockwaller on Kim Possible. From 1999 to 2004, she has had a recurring role playing Isabella "Belle" Black on the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. Starting in 2005, she played Maxie Jones on General Hospital and its spinoff show General Hospital: Night Shift where she met her husband, Brandon Barash.

Nebula Wade - Raven-Symoné

Since playing Zenon's best friend Nebula and Olivia on The Cosby Show, Raven-Symoné then played Galleria in The Cheetah Girls, the psychic teen Raven Baxter in That's So Raven, and worked alongside her Zenon costar, Kirsten Storms on Kim Possible as Kim's friend Monique, amongst many other roles.

Greg - Gregory Smith

Zenon's love interest and total Disney heartthrob, Gregory Smith, wasn't new to acting after appearing in memorable '90s movies like Andre, Harriet the Spy, and Small Soldiers. Although he didn't reprise his role in any of the sequels, Smith starred alongside Chris Pratt as Ephram Brown in Everwood and currently plays Dov Epstein in the Canadian police drama series Rookie Blue.

Margie Hammond - Lauren Maltby

Margie was Zenon's enemy-turned-friend in the first movie, but after filming Zenon: The Zequel and Zenon: Z3, Lauren Maltby and Kirsten Storms became best friends offscreen as well as on. Since Z3 wrapped in 2004, she has retired from acting and instead is a psychologist in Southern California.

Prota Zoa - Philip Rhys

Following his role of the hip, supernova super star Prota Zoa, Philip Rhys still works in show business on both the small and silver screens. Some of his notable recurring roles include playing Reza Naiyeer in the TV series 24, Jude Sawyer on Nip/Tuck, and Aalim Sadiq on Survivors.

Whether they're on earth or in space, it looks like all of the Zenon actors seem to be doing pretty well!
