Things got a little bit weird during an interview with Channel 4 for " [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035)" star, Robert Downey Jr. While doing some press for the upcoming film, one reporter decided to dive a little bit deeper with his questions. The problem? They had nothing to do with the film.

Watch the full interview (Weirdness happens around the 5 minute mark):

The reporter, Krishnan Guru-Murthy , started to ask him about his political views and attempted to talk to RDJ about his father. It wasn’t like RDJ didn’t want to talk about it, but he’s doing a press tour for his movie and has limited time. Plus the father and drug problem questions are a little personal. It's certainly something that RDJ as put behind him, and rightfully so.

One of the most important things to remember when doing an interview is to stick with the topic:

As someone who has done interviews, you know what questions you can, and can’t ask. Clearly his father is a subject RDJ doesn’t want to talk about. I can’t say I blame him for walking out.

My favorite moment is when he says to the reporter, “You have just as much time as everyone else,” because this guy was searching for some sort of in-depth interview. One thing he forgot about RDJ, though. He doesn’t just play Iron Man. He is Iron Man.
