Earlier this week we brought you the awesome news that the much loved '80s and '90s sitcom Full House is being revived with a follow up series to be titled Fuller House! While it seems like many of the original cast have signed on to either star, or guest star in the 13-episode series, which will be shown on Netflix, apparently no one even bothered to tell the Olsen twins that it was happening!

When Netflix officially announced Fuller House on Monday evening they confirmed Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber would reprise their roles as DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy as the main characters of the show, with John Stamos to guest star as Uncle Jesse. Netflix also added that they were currently in talks with Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier and the Olsens to also guest star. However, there was one problem with that - apparently no one had even mentioned the reboot to them, and they found out about it on the same day that everyone else did!

Speaking to Women's Wear Daily, Mary-Kate Olsen revealed:

"We just found out about it today. I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.
I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John [Stamos]."

Ashley Olsen also added her surprise saying:

"I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it.
I’m going to call [Saget] and get his perspective."

As much of a surprise as I imagine the news was, I do take comfort in the fact that they haven't rule out participating in the show, or at least the first episode, which will likely be an hour-long reunion episode. In fact, given the fact that the twins are no longer minors, only one of them would need to sign on to the new reboot to make a full reunion possible (unless they're also going to bring back Melina, Michelle's look-alike Greek cousin, that is!).

With talks with the remaining original cast members still an ongoing process, it looks like we'll have to wait to find out if we will see the whole gang back together again. All we can do for the moment hope is that there's news soon, but to help us through until then, read through the Fuller House outline released by Deadline:

"In Fuller House, the adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Cameron-Bure) pregnant and recently widowed, living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, all move in to help take care of D.J.’s two boys — the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max — and her soon-to-arrive baby."

I can't wait, 2016 cannot come soon enough!
