These past two weeks have been pretty incredible for trailers. We've had Jurassic World, The Fantastic Four, [Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870) and of course, the incredible [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158). It's an unbelievable time for nerds with countless reaction videos going up all over the world. NERD POWER! Now, if only Square Enix would put out a Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer for us all to enjoy, then everything could be right with the world once more.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is undoubtedly a while away from its release date for the XBOX One and PS4, but we've been discussing what could lie ahead for all of us for some time now. Disney is an enormous company, owning the rights to a seemingly endless amount of franchises. Two of the biggest at the moment, are the Marvel and Star Wars universes, and we're all wondering whether we could see them appear in Kingdom Hearts 3 on its release date.

Kingdom Hearts 3 - Star Wars, Marvel, Worlds and Characters

As of now, we're not entirely sure what the likelihood of seeing these franchises in KH3 really is. Of course, they are massive draws for fans all over the world, and we've seen Square Enix work with live-action movies before, with Pirates of the Caribbean. It could certainly work, but what I'd like to know is whether fans of the Kingdom Hearts franchise are actually feeling like the inclusion of Star Wars and Marvel would work for Kingdom Hearts 3!

These are seriously big franchises, and Kingdom Hearts was originally a vessel wherein artists from Japan could come together with the most famous of the West and collaborate on a beautifully unique game. Kingdom Hearts is a celebration of art forms around the world, but most importantly, the art work of Disney and the Final Fantasy series.

Kingdom Hearts has a seriously devoted fan base, that much is so easy to see. Therefore, we all have our own feelings of what the series should focus on. If Star Wars and Marvel had their own worlds and their larger-than-life characters in KH3, would this take away from what the series is really about for you? Should the focus stay with Disney characters and worlds on release date?

Personally, I think that Marvel is too far a stretch. I'm a massive Star Wars fan though and seeing it in Kingdom Hearts 3 would be kinda cool, but then I worry it would upset the balance. Let us know what you think in the comments!
